  1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you want to rub this belly?

Oh yes. Definitely still alive. She'll lay on my feet until I move, then she will get up and follow me around until I give pets again, then she flops over again. The magic of kunekunes.
  2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you want to rub this belly?

I'll see your belly rubs and raise you ... belly rubs. On a pig.
  3. People of Tennessee, a gift with my compliments

Sounds about right for Tennessee. Y'all wouldn't believe all the stupid shit I've learned about this state in the last two years. The state's motto should be "The 'ole boy's network" cause it really is true.
  4. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

Great counterpoint! Thanks for totally clearing that up.
  5. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

Yes and oops - I'm still not used to it being 2021 yet. Regardless, neither point you make here changes the argument in the slightest.
  6. Any lawyers here? Personal belongings damaged in someone else's house...

IANAL - but here's an honest question... what are the odds that she even has any money to pay restitution at this point? The best you'll likely get is a judgement that will never get paid. Small claims is usually like 5k or less, no lawyers involved.
  7. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

Currently you get something like 12.5 btc to solve a block. That's significantly higher than the current 0.00085 btc transaction fee. I know for 12.5 btc I would definitely keep running mining farms at scale. At 0 btc though, I'd be hard pressed to eat the cost of electricity for the meager...
  8. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

There is no theoretical limit as to how far a bitcoin can be divided. The only limitation is existing code. That being said, eight decimal places still leaves room for a LOT of inflation. With each halving, the reward for mining decreases. To cover the cost of keeping transactions running...
  9. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

There is no limit on fractional (decimal places) of a bitcoin. A physical limit on coins is essentially meaningless. The only real limitation bitcoin has right now is transaction fees. When mining becomes pointless transaction fees will skyrocket making the utility of bitcoin fall.
  10. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

I just wish Litecoin gained better acceptance. I don't understand why as venerable and how "tied" to BTC it is that it really has fallen by the wayside compared to more recent upstarts like ETH. What makes ETH more desirable than LTC (other than the price obviously)?
  11. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

If you want to use core, this is the way. Otherwise you can possibly use a "lite" wallet, but I don't know if you can just import your existing wallet.dat into one of them or not.
  12. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

Download latest Bitcoin core, copy wallet.dat over to new install. Wait a month for the wallet to sync.
  13. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

I'm here to talk about it, so might as well talk about tractors. Just found a YM2000 that looks to be in great shape for $2350. Unfortunately, I don't have $2350. Just 4 litecoin. HAH! Really tempted though, since I know it's possible to get an aftermarket loader at some point (which will...
  14. What's your credit score (covert brag thread)

Nope. I mean three. Literally "Three". Not even 3.
  15. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

Hah, something autocorrected on me. "Yanmar". LOL Yammer. Not laughing at you, it was my typo in the first place. I was looking last year around this time and I was seeing the YM2000's in the $1500 ballpark. Bigger, better machine. Now I'm seeing YM1500's with no attachments for $2500...
  16. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

I really just want something with a loader and a tiller. Backhoe would be a nice to have, as would an auger. Bush hog isn't a necessity - I have two zero turns and my "mowable" area is rapidly dwindling as I fence in and add animals. Box blade... whatever I need it for I can do with a loader...
  17. [2/4 @ $88 per share] GME - Gamestop stock - anyone following this absolute MEME-HILARITY (now with Elon tweet)

If it's on Bloomberg, then it's absolutely false. As would be any media outlet stating "WSB is moving stonk XYZ..."
  18. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

*inhales* That's a bit of a WoT. Let's see... I have 15 more chicks coming in a couple weeks. Would still have Pidge, but can't have him going after the kids, and they + wife won't punt so he had to go. Should have heard him try to squak after the third time he went after me... poor guy...
  19. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

Doesn't matter. His tweets move markets, and at current prices my transaction wallet makes me sad. If I held back then...
  20. Wow. Bitcoin is almost $1,500

Fuck bitcoin - I've just opened up my old DOGE wallet to see what I have in there.
  21. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

Redbrand 47" field fence from tractor supply. I went with the 47" stuff over the 39" mostly because goats are escape artists. It's about $160 for a 330' roll here. Up front I put up sheep fence - which is 48" with 4x4 grid opening. I'd have put this everywhere except it's about $100 more per...
  22. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

This is true. He would notice the hot wire (that we haven't put up yet) though.
  23. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

Finally finished fencing in what I call the bull pen. Elvis and the gals have moved in and it's time for some goatse... ...x. Aiming for some June babby.
  24. Bitcoin. I need advice and help

To be completely honest, what has been happening with GME and the other short stocks has been the DAILY NORM for crypto in general, since day one.
  25. NFL: The Final Four

Yay, now I have no reason to watch Tom Brady in the stupid bowl! Eh, I expected this outcome.
  26. NFL: The Final Four

I hope Tom Brady never makes it to another stupidbowl again. At least not without having to pay scalper prices for tickets.
  27. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

Ow man am I sore today. Spent most of the day prepping holes for fence posts to split the pasture for Elvis and digging holes to get my grape and kiwi vines in the ground. Ironically, after only a week Belle decided she was in the mood, so she gets to spend the month in the "passion pen" with...
  28. MegaMillions: $970M

One match 5 winner in VA. So we can possibly be splitting $1mm still. Otherwise anyone want to buy me a tractor?
  29. MegaMillions: $970M

The multiplier never applies to the full jackpot. It applies to everything from match 1 through match 5 ($1mm prize). Ergo, you match the he 5 base number but not the power/megaball, your winnings is multiplied by the draw multiplier. For match 1, it's $2 * the multiplier, for match 5 it's...
  30. MegaMillions: $970M

Odds to win the full jackpot are approximately 1 in 302 million. Odds in willing the match 5 prize is approximately 1 in 12 million. If bought with the multiplier, the match 5 jackpot ranges from 2 million to 5 million dollars. Depending on the pool split that's not an inconsequential amount...
  31. What was the forum drama going on when you joined?

You're asking me to remember what was going on here 25 years ago? Really?
  32. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

It was, then I cooked it. You know when you've played too much Stardew Valley and refer to this as "Complete Breakfast": Aye. Something people don't realize until they have real farm raised eggs for the first time. This last year we charged $4.50/dozen. And we delivered. This year the...
  33. Hi there. (SunnyD has a farm thread)

    Time for some breakfast.
