For the CTI question you are right, the correct one is Desk-phone. Control device from CTI checkbox should be UNCHECKED when you configure it for softphone and CHECKED when it is for Deskphone.

About the restart/reset question. I think the correct is restart because it does not say cold reboot, it says BRIEFLY lost registration with call manager, and restart does that, lose the registration with call manager for changes made to apply them (this is the most fast method, when reset reboots the whole phone, and that is not briefly). Hope it helps!

Another problem found with question: "In which mode is CTI used with Cisco Unified Personal Communicator ? "
Beto says "soft-phone mode" and ETHAN says "desk-phone mode"

Hey lads! BE AWARE OF WRONG ANSWERS here in this DUMP!

An example question: "When you reset an IP phone via the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration page, which method briefly shuts down a registered phone and brings it back up?"

When you hit ANSWER button in this test, it shows a correct answer as RESTART, which I believe is WRONG. Why?
Because RESTART does not shuts down the entire phone! As it is written in the CISCO BOOK, Chapter 5, page 165
" The restart command does a warm boor of the IP phone. The phone reboots, but keeps its existing IP address and TFTP configuration files"
Further on you can read:
"The reset command does a hard reboot of the IP phone."

If you check the DUMP provided by ETHAN, there is the correct answer as well.

But ETHAN's dump has its bugs as well ;)

No question was from outside this dump. Passed with flying colors today 965/1000. Seems like a couple of questions in dumps have incorrect answers because I surely marked all of them with same answers. One of them could be the question which had 'Call Pickup softkey only' as the answer. There is no such softkey as 'Call Pickup'. The answer should have been 'Pickup softkey only'

FRF.12 is an implementation agreement that supports voice and other real-time delay-sensitive data on low-speed links. The standard accommodates variations in frame sizes in a manner that allows a mixture of real-time and nonreal-time data.
