But while taking this demo i faced one problem after solving one ticket 1st ticket one i moved to next ticket Topology and configs were same on all devices,,,,, regarding topology its ok but if problems would be same like previous ticket in all tickets how we would know the real issue?

When you take the exam how are the Tickets displayed?

Do you see The Topology and all the 3 subquestions of the ticket on the same screen? so you can just navigate through the questions? like is it possible to answer question 3 first and then question 1 of the ticket? ....and when your done you go to the next Ticket...

Or is it like you see the Topology and you have to answer the Tickets subsquestions 1 by 1 without the option to click back?

Today I pass this exam but I met new type question for about IP4 ospf and DHCP question, I suggest some retake the exam people, you must remember the trouble shooting list and write down it in the exam period, and first from client1 ping to web server > R1>R4 serial port > R4 ethernet port > gateway, this can help you sort many problem,
before you must to do the exercis about the sim lab of 16 ticket,
I hope that can help some retake people.

I passed yesterday with 855. Got 21Q in which almost 8-10 questions were IPv6 with sh ipv6 rou command disabled. I did get many from the dump but not enough to be sure to clear, would advise people to wait a little longer before attempting so that the dumps become 100% accurate.

@Echelondrew - you're quite right, Cisco exams are no child's play, and contrary to that, they're also easy to pass when you've done your homework. Most fear comes from lack of preparation.

i passed yesterday with the full mark. i got the 13 tickets, 6 MCQ and two simlet, the switch and the EIGRP(one question).
1- one of questions you will have to drag the pointer to down to find the right cause of the problem. i didnt see it at beginning so be careful about that.

2- the Metodo way didnt work with me in the IPV6 (i didnt use it in ipv4 either) the only ticket still work in ipv6 as metodo the Tunnel one. and i used show run to detect the problem in other two ones. i knew it is ipv6 by pinging 209.65.200.241 and getting reply

3- at Asw1 you cant just type

Client IP seems static. It's written DHCP on the diagram but I did not have any ticket with 169.x.x.x client IP. In fact, for tickets like Access VLAN 10, clients are not supposed to get IP but still assigned 10.2.1.3 with G/W 10.2.1.254

1.Check ASW1 by 3 commands:
-show vlan brief (to verify the ports fa1/0/1-2 in right Vlan vlan10 )

-show run & show int fa1/0/1 and show int fa1/0/2 ( to verify the if port security configuration )
2.Check R4 by (show run) command to verify if the wrong in rang of ( ip dhcp excluded-address ) , and if the ( passive-interface default) command is apply under (router eigrp 10) .
3.If there was nothing than previously reported , After that Check if you can/cannot ping to other devices .

Guys, the Tshoot Exams is basically paying attention and not freaking out. just take your time and use PING and TRACEROUTE and all will go smooth. I believe the fear is the problem. try and understand the Topology and always use PING OR TRACEROUTE to pick out the Machine with the Fault. Pls do not panic, if you do you might choose A when you actually Know the correct Answer is B.Also try and go to cisco.com and read about the questions format and do the practice questions. God be with you...

I passed yesterday and now I am CCNP. Son of a (you know what) !!
What a hard test man...
I passed by the smallest of margin 855/1000.
I was really freaking out not being able to find dhcp,eigrp miconfigs. I kept a log on my dry eraser board as I found each error on the configs I marked it down. As I got near the end of the test finding the faults was easier. But I KNEW i missed a couple tickets. On my test the IPV4 OSPF interface S0/0/0 fault was on every R1 config for each tickets. It was definitively confusing.

Keep an eye out for the tickets with the IPV6 address in the question of the ticket. An excellent clue to look and find the IPV6 errors.

TEST TAKERS !!
Study hard the config output for each ticket. Not just the solution !! I wrote each ticket and each config error down several times. Then I was writing it out by memory before the test. When I found the error it poped out like a yellow highlighter. I was armed and READY !!

I noticed there is confusion regarding the ticketing. Advise says "study the device configuration, find the fault, then open the ticket and pick the answers". I see this is backward, where logic says, read the question which is the ticket this case, and then troublshoot. Can any one share the ticketing strategy of answering?

@Paco25 thanks. I shouldn't have failed at all as I work with Cisco kit day in day out for a living so was a bit embarrassing for me to fail it.

I've now revised my strategy and am going to use the below one. I've also been obsessing over the lab to the point that I even see it in my sleep lol.

1. Try pinging the default gateway address (10.2.1.254) from Client 1 - if you get a reply, move to step 2. If you don't then it's a layer 2 issue somewhere.

2. Try pinging 209.65.200.241 from R4 or DSW1. If it works, move to step 3. If not, try from R1.

3. Try pinging 209.65.200.225 (other side of R1) from client 1. If it fails, there's most likely an access list somewhere blocking it. If you can ping it, then it's gotta be a BGP neighbor issue on R1!

I've found the key to this one is isolation. First thing is to isolate the fault by OSI layer (2 or 3). Then try to isolate it to the faulty device by using ping or trace route.

I took the exam yesterday (19/12/2015) but failed unfortunately :-(

I got stuck on 3 tickets and ended up spending more time on them that I had to rush the other questions/tickets so I was a bit panicked towards the end.

I just couldn't find the problem on the 3 tickets and ended up picking any answer even though I knew it was wrong.

I scored 806 out of 846 and had been studying for over 3 weeks by pinging devices to find problems then checking the running configs.

I got the 3 IPv6 tickets and managed to get 2 of them but forgot that it was the loopback address that wasn't pingable so was my fault due to panicking due to the time I had left.

I got the BGP one where the neighbor address is wrong, port security on ASW1, 2 questions from the EIGRP simlet and a few more that I can't remember.

All the questions were from Networktut.

I had one ticket where DSW1 wasn't the primary HSRP router so all the traffic was going through DSW2 and this threw me off as to what was wrong here.

Really annoyed that I failed especially as I never just memorise the answers but always use show commands to help understand what's at fault.

Just took my exam a short while ago and failed :-( Feeling quite upset and frustrated as I really thought I knew my stuff.

Layer 2 Tech - 75%
Layer 3 Tech - 71%
VPN Tech - 100%
Infrastructure Security - 100%
Infrastructure Services - 0%

I got stuck on about 3 tickets that I just couldn't figure out and had to guess even though I knew the answer I was picking was incorrect. Wasted around 30 mins on those then had to rush to get the others out of the way but was ok with them.

Thanks ... the problem is the Demo and ticket instructions on the actual test gives you no instructions at all. "oh, by the way, ALL ticket answers will change on the spot if you decide to go back and change your selection."

I can pass the test the way Cisco wants me to no problem.

No question a change was made on the 300-135. The post 2 months ago everyone is showing 1000/1000 perfect scores. Now everyone is failing...

@coolestartist check TSHOOT Demo to understand which mistake you did, as you need to identify the Ticket issue, it means you have techniques how to identify issue. look total 16 Tickets, 13 are IPv4 and 3 are IPv6, you need to find how you will able to identify the tickets in exam.

I took the tshoot 300-135 today. The ticket questions change as you select the device, technology ect. For example once you pick the device, then pick the technology, hit the back button change the device, EVERY THING CHANGES !!

one more time PAY ATTENTION TEST TAKERS !!
The tickets change and the configs CHANGE as you pick a device. The problem is there is NO instructions or any type of extra information to prep you. I had the ladies at the test center watch and see the question change. What's the point of being able to go "back" and change your answer when the ticket will literately change over and over. I stopped the test and filed an incident report with Person View.

@paco25 & Mohammad, share your emails, and do check demo of TSHOOT then you will understand the mistake you guys did, as far as saving answers its done by clicking next but make sure you guys checked correct answers.

i just postponed the exam till i get new information,.. is the exam changed or something make me not ready to enter ?? as there is some comments say's that there some glitch while they having the exam.

WOW, test is so confusing, you study with these dumps but when testing, it doesn't show you what ticket your working on. or at least I couldn't figure it out. I had weird things going on within test, like in a ticket after answering the 3rd question, I go back to over look answers and when I did..it would be a whole new set of questions, OMG I was pissed. it happened 3 times.I failed because of this. I calling pearson vue to hopefully get them to let me retake on them. I can accept failing but when glitches happen, I have to fuss about it.

I have a problem with simulator Virtual Cert.
In current version that I have at this time, I dont allow me any test. I try to find a version of similador more current but I don´t find nothing.

Take your time with tickets.
I had 6 MCQs
2 Simlets (1 question in one and 4 in the other)
13 Tickets.
Premium 68 is valid

If you study and understand the tickets and technology it is very easy.
No need for strategy or flow chart.

Just ping the device/s until you find the problem device or traceroute.
Tracert does not work on client pc but does on all other devices including ASW1.

Sh run is your friend. Just look at the config.
Most other commands won’t work like pipe |
Sh ip route works
Sh ip route eigrp works
Sh run works
Ping works
Traceroute works

IPV6 is very easy. Only three tickets and 3 issues.
Very easy to find problem especially if you know the answer.

However you need to do more than remember the issues and answers.
For those that are not doing the troubleshooting in the tickets aren’t ready and should study more.

Do the show run and find the problem. (you already know the answer)

I studied for approx 3 weeks and knew it inside out and back to front and had the confidence required.

Don’t be a paper CCNP. Do the study also.

I took the exam already to day, BUT unfortunately, i failed.
i DID EVERY THING RIGHT, BUT i wonder about one thing,
Do i have to type any command in the router/switch that has the issue??
because i only choosed the right answer WITHOUT making any changes in the router/switch configuration.
Is it the cause made me failed???
I am confused, is it only mater of choosing the right answer or i had to write and correct the commands inside the router/switch as well??
