I passed today few hours ago.
all come from dump except for one new drag&drop About Metro Ethernet, definision for following (EPL,EWS,EWS,ERS,ERMS)

passed got 888 .. three new drag n drop, with 18 questions out of these questions.

Still Valid. 949 today. All MC here. 2 new DnD. 1 on storage. 1 VPN. Again still valid. I studied nothing else.

Yes it is true. I am also going to give this exam in one week and last day to test is 16th June 2011 as per Cisco's certification support.

Took the exam today and passed. Almost every multiple choice question is from this dump. There was one multiple choice question that was not in the dump.

For drag and drop, there were 2 new ones.
One was multicast modes and which situations they would be useful for. I cant remember the words but the question went smth like this:
MULTICAST MODE SITUATION TO USE
Anycast Many to many comms
Multicast Traditional, with specific source and dest
PIM One source to many dest comms

The other new DnD was on generic NAC Components(not the 2 in the dump but similar stuff) where you had to match a generic (not Cisco specific) NAC component to some description


The other DnDs I got were from exam D:
- NAC (NAM, NAS, NAA, Update Agent)

- STP Modes (MST, CST, STP, RSTP, PVST+ RPVST+) - in the exam I had one unused option, slightly diff from the dump

- VPN (Headend, Access, ISP, Tunnel)

- STP (Backbone Fast, Portfast, BPDUGuard, RootGuard, LoopGuard) - in the exam I had one extra unused option - UplinkFast, slightly diff from the dump

- Cisco security solutions (TrustAgent, Security Services Client, NAC Agent, Security Agent)

Passed today - 910. Most of the questions was from file. DnD needs to be taken from the exam D (in exam E there are mistakes)

Passed in Germany - it´s still valid

Passed yesterday 949, same comment as BIG_Bird

One more in the rear view today. 979/1000 six D&D and 59 MCG. Two D&D not in the dump one about community/private vlans all MCQ from the dump. Big shout out to Anderson.

Just a note on the OER drag and drop, every place I have looked appears to have this answer incorrect. The correct order according to the official Cisco ARCH book (page 322 -323) is:
Learn - Measure - Apply - Optimize - Verify
Keep in mind the "measure" is not a option in the drag and drop. Also why would you verify something before you apply it (this is according to all the answers I have seen)?

passed today with 987/1000, all questions are in this dump including DnD. There must be one question had wrong answer coz I'm sure I answered all question exactly as this dump.

Same question from Selena, are the multiple choices question in 642-873 ARCH same in CCDA as well? ALL A,B,C,D only?

Ahmed, why do we need to research? are the DND in both Anderson & Malik not Valid?

I took the exam today and i scored 923. Anderson dump is still valid and as for the DnD you need to do a research on your own.cos if you wait for the corrected dnd as people have been requesting. time is not available for that. You can do some google search on those dnd and analyse the answers.

Hi all! Hurray!!!!!!!! I managed to pass until March 11.
I passed today, 642-873 ARCH a few hours ago, score 949/1000. Was 5 standart DnD - VPN,NAC,NAM,STP,STP enhanced (BPDU guard, loop, root guard), nothing new was on the test and there were no surprises.

I used the following materials to pass this exam:
I read completely both following books
Authorized Self-Study Guide - Designing Cisco Network Service Architectures(ARCH) - Second Edition
CCDP ARCH Quick Reference Sheets

Cisco TestInside.v5.27 642-873 v2010-08-13 by MALIK 209q.vce
Cisco.selftestengine.642-873.v2011-01-13.by.Anderson.216q.vce
DnD Corrected.txt
Both Dumps is 100% valid.

That would be nice but he was referring to the 65 questions that he got on his exam, I believe.

I'm confuised, this dump has 216 Q or 65?
is there someone who worked only on the 65 Q and passed?

Thanks Chip! Well, I guess that the SAN and OER MC questions that you got were probably among the 2 that were not covered in the 63/65 questions? I don't recall seeing any specific OER questions in Anderson, etc.

Perhaps you get the extra SAN Extension and OER questions in place of the extra D&D.

Yes this dump is still valid and I'd say 63/65 questions appeared.

AK - you nailed it, those were the ones I had. I did not see the SAN or OER D&D but I did have a MC questions on both of those.

Used the Anderson and got a 988/1000. Had all but the SAN D&D, 5 in total

It's very good for choice but d&d I reccommend read the items that you cannot drag and drop (can read only).

Is the Quick reference sheet and some videos enough to pass or is reading the entire Student Guides suggested?

How many questions would you estimate have the answers in a different order? Is it really a distraction?

What is the difference between Anderson and Malik? Both look the same to me and both incluse the same errors, as far as I can see, Thanks!

@ junis, if you are CCNP you only need to take the ARCH exam but for you to be fully CCDP you are expected to take the CCDA exam. you can check this link http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le5/learning_certification_type_home.html

Some questions are not in the same order becareful
Around 6 Drag & Drops
1-Learn Apply Optimize Verify (OER Phrases) the phrases to match are not available in the VCE please try to find it
2-Cisco NAC appliance Agent , Trust Agent
3-CISCO NAM , NAA and etc.
4-New SAN D&D

I have used Malik dump please avoid the latest 5 drag and drops as they are incorrect from 209 - 214

drag and drop questions are same but their drop theory is different from these but have the same concept.

i have passed the exam few days back with 988 marks.three drag and drops are additional here.except these five.other questions are from these questions.
