@Matrix - yes. Step1 is not in answers because those parameters will be available in "default" ikev2 profile. You can verify that with command "show ikev2 proposal default". Unfortunately I didn't get that Simlet, so I could not check. If you could not see "default" proposal, you can create one. Make sure that is called in "default" ikev2 policy.

Just passed CCNA security 300-209 exams. Used Exam Collection Damp with 234 questions. Its tricky because the dump has questions to select three or four answers but in exam same question to select 1 or 2 answers.

Passed the exam today 9xx/1000. There were a few change in the rearrangement of questions in the premium dump but I can confirm that everything is in the premium dump.

Hi NED10, the premium file contains 234 questions though there are repetitions. If there are no repetitions on the 214q file, then maybe they are the same. I cannot be more specific as I am yet to attempt the 300-209 exam. The updated file was uploaded on May 25th 2016. The source here is examcollection.

Thanks for letting me know the meaning of the word 'Premium' which by the way I already do understand. I was not asking you to send me the file for free. I was asking the website where the new dumps are available so I can download it (after paying for it of course!! ) . As you may know, every site claims that they have the latest dumps but they don't. The latest in this site is outdated as is evident from the comments. Actualtest and other sites also seem to be having the old dumps.

If you do not want to share this info, you can say that. I do not appreciate such rude replies.

300-209 premium file has been updated from 174q to 234q. It has however NOT been renamed to 234 on the examcollection website. They will probably update that. Anyone willing to take the exam can update the rest. I will attempt it soon.

All the dumps are invalid. There are more than 70% new questions. Sims are easy though but not enough to get good points to pass.

Ant is EXACTLY correct in all that he typed. Unfortunately I was just too exhausted to type all that in detail on January 16th after taking the exam for the third time in within a 30 day time frame. Ping 10.1.1.2 and don't look for an SA to come up because there won't be one. Unless Cisco fixes that issue. They have admitted to there being a bug in the test but it is passable.

Hey! passed 300-209 last week with almost full marks (980+)

PL 300-209 (197Q) seems to be fully valid as for now

as per LABs here are my recalls:

LAB – FlexVPN(IKEv2)
you can’t do “identity fqdn …” in ikev2 keyring. so worthelss to try, only address x.x.x.x and pre-shared-key local / remote will be needed under peer statement

you can’t do “tunnel mode ipsec ipv4” under tunnel0 interface so all should be fine without that; you can’t do ip mtu xxxx and ip tcp-adjust mss also, so don’t bother yourself with that

you won’t be able to do “ip route 172.16.2.0 255.255.255.0 tu0” so forget about making reachable those remote network behind SiteB rtr via flexvpn tunnel

you’ll need just to verify ping across the gre tunnel after set all things up (don’t miss ikev2 proposal aes-cbc-128/sha1/group5 at the beginning)
so after enabling ISAKMP on the tunnel interface (tunnel prorection ipsec …) if you see your, int tu0 – UP and ping goes through it to 10.1.1.2 – you’re done

also “show crypto ikev2 sa” (phase1 IKEv2) would NOT show you anything – WEIRD thing, yes i don’t know - why. so keep that in mind
“show cypto ipsec sa” will show you all your SA’s established and ecnryption/decryption packets counters are not just zero’s – meaning for sure you’ve done all right

btw seems encr./decr. counters will grow only once after you do some initial pings and will never go up whatever pings-repeats you’ll do after initial try. so don’t get stuck on that too that’s seems to be just buggy simlet

also i could not do WR to save my config but copy run start DID work so worth a try for any case !

LAB ASA-ASDM (S2S IKEv1)
is very straightforward and you should not waste more that 5-7 minutes on it
don’t forget hitting those APPLY buttons at the bottom of the screen after you've done your settings

after putting in S2S Ikev1/IPsec stuff go to Configutation – Firewall – NAT Rules and un-check the outside NAT pool rule (one of the first ones at the top) not to let your IPsec traffic being natted and going nowhere instead of S2S tunnel.

After that head to Monitoring-VPN-VPN Statistics – Sessions and you’ll see your tunnel up and doing some packets after you did ping from test-PC

as i suppose the exam has 3 LABs
[IOS-to-IOS IKEv2/FlexVPN – IOS setup, ASA-to-IOS IKEv1 S2S IPSEC ASA/ASDM setup, Clietless SSL VPN – adding Bookmarks ASA/ASDM setup]
and 3 Hotspot/Sims
[AnyConnect SSL VPN ASA/ASDM , S2S IKEv1 IPSEC ASA-to-IOS IOS/ASDM and FlexVPN IKEv2 ASA-to-ASA ASDM]
from which it rolls the dice out to you

i had two LABS (IOS FlexVPN, ASA ASDM S2S IPSE) + 1 Sim - (AnyConnect SSL VPN) in total

PASSED!!!! 940 out of 1000 - 174Q VALID

Just failed for the second time with the same score of 793 today. I looked at that FlexVPN site to site up and down and I was able to ping across the tunnel from 10.1.1.1 to a remote 10.1.1.2 so the tunnel was up and working. However no Ikev2 SA formed at all. I did a "show protocol" and it showed that the L0 172.16. interface was down. Left it alone and went on to the next question. Not sure whats going on on this test.

Matt (December 17th Comment)....I took the test on December 19th and scored 3 points less than you. You are exactly correct in your findings. I had the same issues with the simulations where some of my changes to the ASA config would disappear when I revisited a page. Also had an issue with the Ikev2 S2S vpn between the two IOS Routers just like Jonny Five (December 11th comment). Successful many times over in GNS3 with configuring Ikev2 FlexVPN S2S but not on the test. Put an incident report in to PearsonVue and they claimed they found no discrepancies. They told me to report my issues to Cisco for further review. I am retaking the test on January 9th though Cisco is currently reviewing my complaint. Will take them about 7 - 10 business days to get back to me with their findings.

In my case I've missed a simulation ASA vpn s2s ASDM the application has blocked on me (trying to delete and recreate the tunnel) so I was forced to click next and lose it . cli the same ...different sims...

Test-king has released a new 300-209 dump, 174q and has all the latest questions.

53 questions, 846 is passing. The Site-to-Site VPN simulation is not solvable as it just does not work. Also the simulation diagram shows different information than what is actually configured on the simulation devices (which cannot be changed). As simulations are weighted you should avoid this exam until the simulation is fixed.

This HEATHER dump is no longer valid. Well, mostly. Few questions did come from this. The Simulation was correct, LABS are not correct. I got one on Bookmarking. And a SIM on verifying the kind of authentication being used etc using show commands. All in all, most of the theory questions were different. Only very few were same.

This is not valid, but to be fair, some questions arent even covered in CBT nuggets, there is no Cert Guide until September 2015
