All DD are same pattern but MQs are flapped but all same. please take care of Simulations . because this time they were asking some different questions like today one question was TOtal Prefixs that were (45) not labels that Mohammad mentioned 21. policy-map question was under "QoSPolicy" not QoSpolicy1 or QoSpolicy2.

1) All questions and d&d are correct. Labs - see Mohammed's answers, they are 100% correct. The correct answer to one lab question he did not mention is "B. The "traffic-policing" QoS policy will police the traffic matched by the "test12" ACL to 3 mbps and will drop all
exceeding traffic" (as in dump +see note below).
2) In lab:
- correct syntax is "show policy-map interface gi0/0" (don't forget "gi0/0").
- where the answer is "B. Traffic matching the "MARKING1" class-map will be marked with MPLS EXP 5" enter two commands: "show policy-map interface gi0/0" and "show class-map".
- where the answer is "B. The "traffic-policing" QoS policy will police the traffic matched by the "test12" ACL to 3 mbps and will drop all exceeding traffic" the only command that work is "show running-config policy-map". Commands "show policy-map" or "show policy-map traffic-policing" do NOT work.
- correct syntax is: "show mpls ldp discovery detail", NOT "details" (as was posted earlier).
- to scroll output use spacebar.
- "conf t" and "enable" are not needed.
3) All answers shuffled (except for D&D), not only multi-choice.
4) Drug&Drop with option "Provide a strict priority queue to allow delay-sensitive data such as voice t be dequeued and sent first" - the right answer is LLQ (as in the figure). In comments to figure the answer is "CBFWQ" - it is wrong.

3- From PE8 router, what is the label action used to reach the P2 loopback 0 interface 10.0.2.1/32?
Issue on PE8: show mpls forwarding-table , find prefix 10.0.2.1 and you will see there under outgoing Label "Pop Label" (This is actually logic because the prefix is directly connected and therefore the packet will forward without label). If the router should forward any packet to that prefix, the packet should be received with Local label on PE8 (Local Label = 35), the router will remove it and forward it without Label.
The Answer is Pop label 35.

4-From the PE8 router, how many total prefixes for have an incoming local label assigned (including the impnull)?
On PE8 issue: show mpls ip binding summary and look at "assigned in labels". That value is the correct answer NOT "learned out label".
The correct answer is 21.

Look for the "Outgoing Label" not the "Local Label" for the prefix 10.7.1.1/32. You will notice that the Label value is 16024.

2-On P2 IOS-XR router what is targeted LDP hellos hold time on LDP session with 10.0.1.1:0 LDP ID?
Answer: 90 sec.
Issue on P2: show mpls ldp discovery (details).
Ps: The command show mpls ldp parameter is not Implemented.
Look at the end, you will see the hello and the holdtime values for the target neighbour. Be careful he is asking for "targeted LDP hellos hold time". No other command will work!!! At the end of the show result you will see something looks like the following:

The LABs have different answers (MPLS LABBEL numbers,etc) but if you know the commands you can find them easily.

all are valid with two notes:
1- the order of answers are variable, so be sure that you understand and memorize the correct answers
2- some of the simulators answers are wrong, so you need to valdate answers in exam

Today passed the 642-887 exam with 915 score. These dumps are still valid but the mpls/ldp multiple lab questions have wrong answers.

Actually All of the questions in this dump were in the exam
Just take care of the QoS/LDP labs there are some wrong answers so you'll need to solve them based on your knowledge.

I passed on 1-17-2013. You won't get a perfect score but will get in the 900+ range. Good enough to pass. Not sure which question are wrong but this is a great dump.
