I wish all the best to you guys and enjoy studying the ccna security .. the exam is easy and it is 70 q's i..all of the q's from this dump except 3 or 4 q's .. if you study well you can figure out the answers .. my advise to you guys is to study and understand this course ..dont memorize the q's and go to the exam plz .. otherwise you are throwing your money on the floor .. and you will never be accepted in any job .

I'm taking my exam on January 4th (in two weeks). I feel pretty confident with the material. I've read Barker's guide, and played around with the CCP. This exam seems easier than the CCNA - Routing/Switching.

Hey just gave the exam. Got 970/1000. Misha's dump is valid but there were some additional questions. These can be found on the link Mike posted. It has 5 extra questions mostly drag and drops and i got 3 out of those 5 which were missing from Misha's. Not that Misha's dumps are invalid, just that there are 5 more questions and thankfully i went through it yesterday.

Thanx Misha..I passed with 958 today. Yes dumps still very valid.but you need to know how to navigate through the CCP for the hotpots and labs because the parameters were changed in the actual test and seems like the CCP is a newer/ older version of the one in the dump. But it was pretty easy..just prepare well

No new sims. I got the ones in the dump.
I used GNS3 with loop back interface. Did not configure firewall.
If you have time, you better practice firewall, AAA and all.. but not really required to pass the exam.

Congrats on the pass. You still scored 967.
You said, i added only acl & but not able to associate the ACL as buton was disabled., Comments like these make people panic during or before taking exam.
You tried the associate button on the same window? It was working fine for me. May be you should have cancelled and tried it from the start.

-In the pass4sure dump, the topology isn't there. In the real exam, you will be given a topology(no need to worry about it, you just have to configure ACL the same way, no change in that). You need to figure out the outbound/inbound interface in the inbound/outbound direction to apply ACL. I am not sure about this. Still i scored 950. :)

If you are not confident of ccp, memorize the paths as in the dump.
I recommend to install ccp and run with gns3. It isn't that tough. use google and youtube.

SDLC-7 in the L.H.S, you need to choose 5 from them. It was the stages in the lifecycle.

I took only 1hr to complete the exam.LOL. I was able to choose the answer without even reading the question.except for ACLs.
I skipped many topics during the study,in part-3 of official book, as i did not have much time left. Have to go through them again now.

I am pretty sure everyone will pass the exam if they understand the Q&A in the dump and practice them.

Dave, I would not like the conversation go further, and don`t take things as critics.
Dumps are helpful in that you can have idea of what the exam might look like. Of course it is up to the intention behind the usage of these dumps (to pass by learning by heart, or use them as a kind of introductory view to exams i.e. a helpful tool). Using the dumps doesn`t necessarily mean that a candidate is lacking knowledge in his field. From this point of view I`m here to be in touch with the latest questions and topics in exams, not by learning by heart the answers, but by trying to solve the tasks I might encounter. I see the labs on dumps, set them up, and try to solve them. Thats all.

@nas - sinario is same but ans are diffrent..go in all tab to find out each ans in configuration mode.
Lab= NTP + ACL .i added only acl & but not able to associate the ACL as buton was disabled., also no save button as that also not enabed.
go for it as without lab also u can pass easily

First off, just FYI I have been preparing since September for the exam and I am confident enough to give my exam on my own. All I wanted to know was whether there are certain lab questions that are repeated or not so that it can be considered as a maybe. As far as your concern regarding setting up labs and practicing it is concerned, well I have done my bit.
But what I dont seem to understand is that if you guys are so sure about your knowledge and your proficiency, why do you guys need dumps, why do you guys even come to this website. If knowledge is your only concern you could give your exam without having to refer dumps or even come to this website.
Everyone wants as much help as possible as their exam dates come near, they think any tips or advice could be useful. Hence I asked, but I didnt know that asking for help would make you guys so concerned about my knowledge of the subject.

Totally with you. First thing it is not possible to pass exam in couple weeks, you need at least 2 month to master everything. You have to like this stuff, passion about it, it is should be your hobby and work.

I`m not about abusing anyone, but I am getting very surprised when people say "i`ll pas my exam in such and such week, so please help me find labs etc.". You should have already been able to handle labs yourselves, set them up if necessary and solved them. What`s the point of passing the exam without practicing in labs? No real knowledge unless you use them in practice. Anyway it is just advice. Everything is up to yourselves.

Hi, I would be giving my exam sometime next week. Could someone please help me out with lab resources, as in where can I get lab questions, how to go about preparing for the lab. Any help would be appreciated

i was talking specifically about the questions that ask you to choose multiple answers from the list. for example a few questions ask you to select 4 or 5 answers in the VCE and if you memorize based on the order of the VCE you'll get it wrong on the actual test because they're not in the same order

still valid. passed today. you WILL fail if you go by memorizing answers alone because some of the answers to the questions in this VCE are out of order compared to the actual exam.
the same goes for the labs, while the concept and objectives of the labs are the same the answers are not - so if you want to pass you'll need to work thru it to find the answser..its not hard to pass this test if you actually study

100% valid, passed 958 / 1000 ,only 2 new D&D , everything else was from here. just read the official guide , and practice with the dumbs, if you can watch the CBT videos.
One thing, on the ACL configuration you cannot apply the rule from interfaces but only from association , so see your interfaces first they will state the name of the extended ACL you have to fix to me it was Inbound. Thanks uploaders

what is the exact passing score for this exam. Somwhere I have saw the passing score 802 and some where 850..So little bit confused.

Took the exam today and passed, dump is valid.
-New D&d regarding Business continuity concepts: (mtd, rto and rpo match to their definitions)
-Sims (all in 1 question) only on configuration of NTP server, accesslists to allow eigrp protocol & www
-CCP questions are similar but the answers are not the same. Its not to hard to guess even if you did not use CCP before as many non-relevant options are grey-ed out or unclickable, so you dont waste time navigating it.
-No port security sim

i got CCP sims. configuration of NTP server, accesslists to allow eigrp protocol, etc. Exam was pretty much easy than expected.

i've found 1 mistake in D&D question where we have to match statements for differencies between tacacs+ and radius. and according to your's answer - tacacs+ encrypts only payload and radius full packet. it's MISTAKE. am i right?

Just use GNS3, create a topology and practise with CCP. Set firewall, ACL and NTP. GNS3 is powerfull tools for studying CISCO

I passed on Nov 5 with 938. The NTP,CPP and ACL labs were pretty easy despite the fact that I never used CCP b4, However, I cldnt save my ACL config cos d option wasnt there and cldnt put the rule created on the outbound interface in d inbound direction. U guys sldnt just master d CCP anwers in d dumps. The ip,ntwk addresses are diff in d real exam, u just hv to play around ccp Lab. The dumps was helpful but the options were twisted. U just need to study very well. Wish u guys b best

If you will encrypt data with your private key, everybody can decrypt it as public key everyone can have it. You only using private key to decrypt the data.

Question 54 appears to be wrong - answer:

Asymmetric encryption: The sender encrypts the data using the sender's private key, and the receiver decrypts the message using the sender's public key.

Perhaps there is a typo in the question and it should have said symmetric.

Is the answer given to this question correct? I believe it is not.

Cleared the exam today with 979.
The lab was somewhat tricky especially the association of ACL to the interface.
In the vce file,it shows that you need to go under interface management for the association while in the exam, the option for association is present right there after the creation of ACL.

Took my exam on 1/11/2012. Passed . :-).
This dump is totally valid. All questions from this one.
Lab was a little tricky - the questions where the same but the approach to solve the ccp questions used in the dump could not be used.
