I actually pasesd the Written the day after you took it. I agree that some of the questions were in the WTF realm, but I didn't feel like any of the questions didn't provide the information needed to answer it, it was just a little tough sometime figuring out what they were getting at.I do recommend the Boson MaxSim product, it was pretty good. And if you have a copy of the CCIE R&S Cert guide from odom, use the code provided to unlock the boson exam for that text. Those questions are *excellent*. They're hard because almost all of them are choose all that apply', and they don't tell you how many apply, so you have to evaluate every single answer for whether or not it's correct. This helped me greatly when it came to evaluating the questions the actual Written threw at me. Between the Odom book questions, and the Boson questions, I felt it was very representative of the actual exam, but only if you take the time to figure out why you missed the questions you missed.

it s not a simulation , but just some network troubleshoot you have to solve .. it s easy don't worry

but i think ccie written doesn't have simulation in it. how come people come across simulations? Did cisco announce that he will now be adding simulation?
anyhow, let someone confirm if this dump is still valid.

Two of the simulation questions are about OSPF. They will show you the output of the command "sh ip ospf database network 172.*.*.*"
1. Which router is the DR?
2. Out of 4 which two statements are correct about the out put?

One question is about IPv6 multicast.
One question is about QoS.

All of these are pretty easy if you know your stuff.

These dumps are still valid. Passed yesterday with 991/1000. 1 Simulation question with four sections in it. No Drag and Drop question. No question with OSPF topology.

ActualTest v3.0 (September 2010) are 100% perfect. 196 Questions. A guy passed on 15 Oct 2010.

Dump seemed perfect. I found that the first 196 matched up favorably, and in the exact order of the latest (September) ActualTests pdf. I am fairly certain there were none or very few questions after the first 196 on the test. About 80% of the questions after 196 were the answer (A), so I question their validity.

i work for an organisation in which the network is set up and the problem is that they have created two vlan's in which one vlan is for the whole company pc's. and the other vlan is done in the interest of when ever a client come in the company and he wants an internet access, at that time he should not get access to the companie's database and get the information.

in all the departments of the company access ports(AP's) are installed so that the client can access the internet through wifi in any department.

can anybody help me in this problem or tell me how the access-list can be done.
