Answer must be A. One custom loadevaluator for all servers. Rule 1 : Server user limit 100 Rule 2 : CPU limit 90%.
I loss this exam today,only 20% Valid.In China,68 question.
I have passed this exam now. Valid 100%. All questions are the same. I have now to take 1Y0-A22. I got the REAL EXAM questions of 1Y0-A22. Can any one help to get answers? Drop an email to me at: paulk99@ymail.com i will send you all those questions
I'm going to stop helping people here. I spent 8 hours making this vce with detailed explanations and all I get is criticized by nitpickers over questions that are probably different on the real exam.
Gosh:
The advanced Load evaluator doesn't have the server user load rule enabled ,so it never will stop at 100 users . i don't understand where you get this idea from?
the default load evaluator does have the user load rule enabled with 100 users full load, but the advanced not!
edy you like to argue dont you? You are arguing about something that doesnt matter because the question you are arguing about doesnt mention if the programs are multi threaded or not so who cares? Get over it.
We can spend weeks arguing about the semantics of the differences between a single core and dual core cpu. I'm sure you would like that but I have a life.
All properly written applications are able to use multiple CPU cores (a.k.a. multi threading). In your described case, if every user would run notepad, it wouldn't change anything. One users notepad would use one core, other users notepad would use the other one. If application is not capable of multi-threading - it doesn't mean that operating system will run all instances of that application on one core.
Has this is valid file to go thru and appear for the exam from India? and what is cost of this exam in $?
edy,
A program only uses multi cpu cores if 1) its written to use multi cores and 2) its doing a task that requires multi cores. Notepad, for example, only uses 1 core. If every user only used notepad then each server would use the same cpu, regardless if its single core, multi core, or X-core.
However, the question say it wants ALL servers to limit to 100 user sessions. The advanced load evaluator does this. The only way to do this with the possible answers is B, so the answer must be B, even if the question is poorly written. The real exam question might be written better making more sense.
So i agree with you but for a different reason.
@gosh I appreciate that load evaluator doesn't look at the cores, it looks at general CPU usage which is all cores combined (in %).
So, if you assing a load evaluator that limits user connection when CPU usage reaches 90% on one core cpu servers and 2 core cpu servers - it will allow more users on the 2 core cpu servers because it will take more users to generate the same percent, combined core, cpu load than on a single core CPU.
Agreed, would be the best if someone could confirm this. I don't plan to take exam in another month or so anyway, so that's not a problem yet.
here's a screenshot of setup where it asks you what mode you want:

People in canada and US who took this test said most questions came from this dump. Only a few people in other countries said differently. it's possible they might use different questions for different countries.
Question 5 is probably incorrect as listed in the vce:
An administrator needs to install a XenApp 6.5 server to act as an additional dedicated data collector. After installing XenApp on the new server, the next step is to configure it by enabling the _________
I put the answer as C, however during install there are only 2 options:
1) controller only mode
2) controller with session-host mode
This can only be set during install so unfortunately i dont have a screenshot. Therefore the correct answer would have to be B - controller with session host mode. Options 3 and 4 are invalid as they dont exist.
@Edy:
If you look at the advanced load evaluator it doesnt count cores, it only counts the number of CPU's. The correct answer, as I put in the explanation would be "advanced load evaluator applied to single-processor servers" That would limit the cpu only for single core CPU's. it's possible thats the real answer but the person who made the dump made a mistake copying it. I left the answer as D as there wasnt a good answer.
Can anyone who recently took the test clarify what the possible answers were?
Question 4 is incorrect:
A server farm consists of dual and single processor servers. The administrator wants to ensure that the dual-processor servers receive more sessions than the single-processor servers. In addition the administrator wants to ensure that no server receives more than 100 user sessions.
a. custom load evaluator rule to all servers
b. advanced load evaluator rule to all servers
c. Cuatom load evaluator role to all dual processor servers
d. advanced load evaluator rule to an dual-rpcessor servers
The answer is B and not D. It is a simple logic, if you limit all servers to 100 users and 90% cpu - dual-processor servers will have more sessions because it will take more users on the server to generate 90% of CPU load than on a single cpu server. This will fulfil both conditions of the question. If you choose D - you are only limiting single CPU servers by number of users, which means that 100 users can jump on that servers.
Hi Gosh:
The vcd is not valid, only about 8-10 questions appear on the vcd.
It is possible that the exam has multiple versions.
I updated 2 things in this vcd:
1) Un-randomized the answers so the explanations will make sense
2) Changed question 2
If anyone finds any incorrect errors please post them here. Please let us know if you take this test how valid this vce is. I'm going to take it soon.
