Hello, there was no lab questions on the pass4sure. All the questions from pass4sure were on the security + exam word for word. I do not know how to do a vce.

The questions from pass4sure are part of there answere and question engine.

The main question is how can I trust all of these or which one to trust. how to verify who is saying right.

I just took the Security + test on Friday Jan 18, 2013. I had 91 questions on my exam. There are some performanced based questions but they are not graded and do not count towards your score, they are beta questions. I didnt answer them because they were hard. I used the pass4sure which was updated on Jan 10th with 288 questions. The questions were the same. I scored a 881.

I'm currently in a military four-day crash course on Sec+ followed by the test this Friday. The test has been revised as of Jan. 7th verified by these instructors so the performance questions(3 or 4) have been implemented. I'm slowly going through all the information and materials from the class. Also, completely agree with Joe Schmoe's comment. Will post again after.

I actually instruct courses for CompTIA certifications and I can 100% tell you all that the new performance-based questions have gone live. While I am no advocate of this "dumps", they do assist the test taker in getting an idea of what will be on the exam. This should in no way be used as a substitute for acquiring the knowledge necessary to pass these examinations.

This is part of the reason why the tests are changing and why the prices for certifications have gone up. The industry is continuing to be flooded with individuals that are seeking to be certified but have very little practical experience. It kind of cheapens the quality of the credential. But demand is dictating how things flow.

Testing center does not have any control over the examination. Testing Centers are simply acts as delivery stations for every examination. The exams are passed down by each Organization (i.e CompTIA) and administered by the Testing Centers throughout the world.

Dont be surprised if you see few Performance Based questions..it may very well be a start and these may not be graded until a full scoring has been determined.

ACTUALLY, to correct the person above, I JUST literally got done talking to my testing center in Maryland and they said there are officially performance questions on the Security+ SY0-301 exam and that it officially changed Jan 5th. So, I'm not sure what the hell everyone else on here is talking about, but if you don't know for sure, CALL YOUR SPECIFIC TESTING CENTER BEFORE YOU TAKE THE TEST SO YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT! I haven't taken my yet, but am soon. I just called them to verify this and they said that there are definitely the new performance questions on the test. This may vary from testing center to testing center, but I know the one in Maryland I called confirmed this. Just a heads up!

Hello, I just called Comptia and there are no Performance based questions on the SYO-301 exam they said it will be a while before they have those type of questions. They also said the A+ exam does have performance based questions.
