@ Jojinushi - Could I get my hands on the pdf and other material you might have to help me study? It would be much appreciated. :-)
@ zinny - already sent it to you about 1 month ago.

Good you passed. I found an PDF from www.actualtest.com which is really good and appears a few questions from the test I took. Also includes a lot from the book. The PDF has 517 questions/answerrs/explanation of the correct and incorrect. If you want it, write me back.
I passed the test yesterday with 665.I used the uCertify preparation exam but only the 50% come from the ucertify dump the other 50% you have to read the books or have some years of experince to answer the questions.
Just took the exam today 04/30/13, I got a 642 and needed a 650. I used this exam and watched some CBT nuggets videos. This Braindump is really out dated.
*If a MD goes out of the area and leave computer open, what would you do?
1-log off
2-page md and ask if he will use the computer
3-leave it
4-turn off monitor
*A patient get triple bypass in the process, what area it belongs?
*when user moves the mouse it goes to the other way of the display, what could it be?
*DHCP default IP is..?
Guys I have to say thanks to a few who wrote some of the answers, they totally appear. Sadly I failed 631/650 and honestly I felt like a trash to fail in something I do everyday. I only had about 2-3 weeks of studing in a few hours. I have some question that appeared in the test.
1-If a computer in EKG doesnt work, whom you notify? OB
2-private facilities and hospital are equal in..??? ( I BELIEVE IS HIPAA REGULATIONS.
3-A tecnician is helping a nurse to enter data in the system, what HIPAA regulation is not valid? or something like that?
I will be posting other later. Hope it help a little to some and again thanks to all who posted.
-Privacy, Legal and their were 2 more choices- Which one is the highest level? Privacy
-What steps do you take before giving a patient their medicine. It's bedside verification.
-What medical facility would you work the hardest- Nursing homes, hospitals, hospice, etc.
-The minimum fine amount? 1000
-What security do you use with email? AES, PGP, DES, 3DES (answer choices) PGP
-What ports are used for a keyboard? USB/PS2
Took the exam today and passed with a 699/650 not the greatest but a pass is a pass in my book.
I can tell you that there are no dumps out there which are valid, but they do teach you some things you can not find online by just doing google searches.
I have some material which will help you learn the topics and put together a little note list stuff I kept running into.
If you have any questions let me know.
Here are the books which I used

I am on the forum all the time so like I said if you have any questions let me know.
What are the answers that you went with?
I was looking through a study guide to see if I can remember some of the questions I had and this is what I came up with. Sorry I dont remember a lot of them, but something is better than nothing. I cant rember all the choices either.

@LuckyTester
Post your prep as a new dump so we can all study
@LuckyTester
How valid is the ucertify exam prep. Is the answer in the prep word for word for what you saw on the exam? Please advise how many questions are in your prep
Just passed on 6/18/2012 with a 665. I used ucertify exam prep. The test had a mixture of ucertify questions and dump. All the questions had different phrases but very similar in content. I would say HIPAA related question counted for 60% and 40% technical.
@IT in PA
What materials did you use to pass the exam? Do you work in the healthcare field? What did you score and what type of questions on HIPAA?
I am new to this cert what advise would you give me?
Thanks
My exam was 95% HIPPA with literally 4 IT questions. Thank the gods I passed. Brush up on your ad hoc networks and OCR.
Good luck
Took the exam today and failed with a 603/650 this was only with 1 day of looking over the material. DO NOT BUY THE ELEMENT K Book it is junk and you can download it from 4shared.
As for what is on the exam, you will not see many computer questions more about HIPPA and all the organizations.
objectives to learn would be all the medical terms and fines and know the roles per positions.
This exam was not what I was expecting, do I believe it has a value, yes in the future but right now they want you to know the legal side of it not the technogly side.
The one thing I would know is the types of backups if you have any questions let me know. I will be taking the exam again after I finish this semester.
@Moe,
Sorry book didn't come with PDF edition. I think now there are another publishers on the CompTIA's site where you can purchase. I think ElementK's book very weak, it didn't cover all exam objectives well.
@guesswho
Thanks for the feedback! Hope you pass next time. I plan on taking the exam soon. It is a fairly new exam not much materail is out on it yet.

@moe,
I think I got majority of the medical questions correct, I had problems with the IT stuff. When I looked at my score sheet, all the objectives that I missed were 90% IT material. The medical stuff was kind of easy. Some of the question I saw were which 802.11x uses 54 Mpbs, If a technician has to go into CCU, what are the requirements. The answer choices for that question was, turn off your cell phone, be escorted by a physician, be respectful, wear scrubs, i dont remember the other choice. I dont remember many questions, I just know I was confused when I took it. The book I bought was from amazon but I sent it back. Im going to look for it on comptia website.
@guesswho
What types of questions did you see? Alot about HIPPA and all the orginaztions?. Which book did you buy the element K book? Any information you can give would mean alot. Thanks
Took the test today and failed. I made a 603 and you need a 650 to pass. I really didnt know anything when I took this exam. Just bought the book today and I plan on taking it again in like a month.There were no questions from the study guide on this exam. Good Luck to everyone.
@DarkRido
Very true, I read on your other post you purchased the Element K book from comptias website, did the book come with a .pdf version. If so can you upload it to www.4shared.com so we can all take a look at it? Thanks for your feedback!
@Moe
You bet it will expire as the law around the HIT will continue evolve in next 4 years. I bet you there will be an updated exam within 2 years.
DarkRido
@DarkRido does the certificate expire? It seems as all test material uses the same 524 questions layout. Pass 4 sure uses the same one.
I just passsed with a 702. Only a couple questions from the uceritfy questions
Seemed to be a lot of wireless and cpoe questions. Also specific hippa questions
About security. Use these dumps as a learning tool. Just memorizing the q/a wont help that much.
You are right DarkRido.The dumps with 524 questions are been sold everywhere, I spoke to a guy who failed by using it, there are just about 10 questions in the actual certification exam. I will recommend you guys to wait or read the books, especially the medical portion, he told me the IT portion is basically easy (provided you are A Plus/Sec Pus cert.) or have a solid IT knowledge. Good luck!
Hi Guys,
I took this test because a few positions that I applied at local NYC Healthcare companies denied me due to non-Health IT experience. In my opinion, IT job is IT job. Your job is damm important whatever business you are in.
I just passed the CompTIA's Healthcare IT Technician test this afternoon in NYC. I prepare myself with ElementK's book that I purchased from CompTIA store and Actualtests.com
I'll post the ActualTest.com .VCE if anyone interested but don't get excited. Almost none of the 524 questions were on the exam. Well, it did help in a way though. If you don't have recent A+ & Network+ certifications or good equivalent experience, don't bother unless your company sending you out for a training. In addition, there were some questions from Project+ and Security+ as well, but not much.
There are a few of question not even mentioned in ElementK's study guide. I would recommend you guys to wait and see if there will be another publisher coming out with a new study guide who will go more depth into the Healthcare coding and terminology.
Good luck all.
DarkRido
Hi guys,
this dump is collection of demo test that I find on the internet as well as CompTIA's practice test and ElementK's study guide (questions only). It is not near to be full exam material but I thought it is a good place to begin.
