Alucard
United States is right I took it the test on 5/27/2014 and pass the sim was about 9
Simulation1: They provide 3 switches and state that users are not able to connect to network.
Answer: Should have been because all three switches are connected together (Making it a Switch Loop which may cause problems). Disable last port on switch 1 and Disable first port on switch 3.
Simulation2: They give a result of a Cat5 and it asks what tool was used to obtain that information.
They also asked if it was correctly or incorrectly crimped.
Answer: Should have been a Cable Certifier. Also it should be incorrectly crimped because there was a short on pins 3,6.
Simulation3: Give you two buildings Bldg1 and Bldg2 and they are 2500ft apart. With 5 AP’s. 3 Ap’s are inside bldg1, 1 outside bldg1 and 1outside bldg2. They will give the specs of what they want on AP’s configuration.
Study: Know about your Antenna types and dB on them. Also know encryption methods like WPA CCMP.
Simulation4: They show 2 racks in a Comm. Room. Left a patch panel with switch and on the right another set of patch panel and switch. On the left side they have a user computer and on the right side they have a server. They state that the user cannot connect to Server. They need you to choose the correct wiring of what they offer you(Cat5 straight thru, Cross over, Multimode Fiber and so on.) to make connection. Also they mention that MDIX auto is not enabled.
Simulation5:They provide a scenario of 3 AP’s in a Bldg. AP’s1,2 and 3. AP 2 was replaced. Now users are having connectivity problems, they want you to check and make sure configurations are correct.
Answer: What I did was mimic the other devices and change channel to 6.
Simulation6: Crimp out a T568B.
Answer: White/Orange, Orange, White/Green, Blue, White/Blue, Green, White/Brown, Brown.
I will send you more info later.
Hi Alucard, what do you mean by feedback part. Where can i find the sims.
Thanks
Where are the sims located Please thanks.
good exam help us to pass
This bank is 10% accurate. More questions toward security instead. I suggest using Ruth for now. That one is 90% accurate.
It is foolish to just use the dumps and expect to pass... gain some knowledge, crack open a book, watch some instructional videos, etc. Even if the dump and the test is not word for word, you should know the materials well enough to eliminate most of the answers (multiple choice) to find the right answer. As far as the Sims go... Check the comments section and use all the other dumps. Take it upon yourself to research the Sims provided so you understand thew answers. Don't be lazy.
Taking the exam next week. This dump has gut hitting questions; too specific and in-depth, and the wordings are twisted. After doing it, I feel like I don't know anything about network. From experience of A+exams, I believe CompTIA offers more straightforward questions like the bank Ruth offers. This is a great study guide, but more real world situation than exam. I will keep you posted after the exam. Good luck to all of you taking the test soon.
This dumps is crap! I took my test today and failed! There were maybe 5 questions from this dump on the test!
Also sims were hard as hell!
I don't have a lot of knowledge about subnets and that's what screwed me over also.i won't be taking this test any time soon unless there are sims and the exact questions available.
I'm taking my exam this week.i will let u know guys if this is valid lol.
I'm pretty sure it is.the other guy says its valid.
Also some questions are common sense.as long your in the IT industry you should have no problem passing this.i also read some network+ books(never completed them tho due to having no time).i rather read these questions.
This one has different questions... I've made it through about 700 of them and have yet to see a sim... also a lot of the same questions are repeated throughout the test.
Anyone know the difference between the Ruth dump and this one? Is it mostly the same the questions?
is this dump valid I need to take my exam in a few weeks time please help
Sorry to here that Chris, I'm betting you were close. With me having no hands on network experience I will prob read a few books before attempting this test. I'd say in a month or so!
I haven't taken the test yet. I have studied Ruth, Annon and Pappu. I started playing with this one and found some of the questions to be non existent from what is covered in the books, Plural Site/Train Signal and a course I took with an instructor. I'd say use it, but don't get pissed off when something comes up that you have never heard of or seen before.
@ bbravenfan: how many of the 900 questions did u study?
All of them? Or would u say if u study 500 that would be enough?
I have my exam in 2 weeks but I'm only at 300 so far.
Also could u list some sim questions?
Or even email rock_4ever@live.ca
passed with 874/900. This dump is 100% valid but I also know my stuff after doing this at work for past 3 years.
as far as the below sim goes
"Simulation4: They show 2 racks in a Comm. Also they mention that MDIX auto is not enabled."
Since Auto MDIX is disabled wouldn't you use a cross over to connect 2 switches to each other? This way the RX and TX are not the same on each so they can communicate back forth?

How valid is this dump?
is this dumps valid?
is this valid?
I took it today and passed 871/900 (in Atlanta, GA, if that makes any kind of difference with what test somebody gets). I am pretty sure that all of the multiple choice questions I got are included here. There may have been one or two that were not, but for the most part, I plowed through those questions. This dump is as valid as valid gets.
I got 7 or 8 Sims at the beginning. The ones I got that I had seen before were a) the one with the three interconnected switches b) the one with 3 WAPs with the 2nd one configured on the wrong channel, etc. c) The one inquiring about the tool and crimping status of the cable, and I think one other Sim from the recent dumps, I can't remember which, and d) the one where it asks you how many broadcast and collision domains switches, hubs, routers, and WAPs have. There was also one that required me to match up the color scheme with a 568B ethernet cable. I hadn't seen that one on a sim, but it was super easy, so just remember that.
There was another Sim that involved connecting two offices via wireless, and one that required reconnecting a network after an outage. These were both incredibly difficult, and I'm not sure how I did on these two. Being that I got an 871, I'm inclined to say that either partial credit is given on Sims if you get part of it correct, or else the Sim questions are weighted the same as the multiple choice.
People please we need some votes!
Is this exam any good?
Whoever upload this should put some comments to!
This test dump is accurate. Less than 5 questions from the test were on here. I took it today and using this test bank failed with a 690. Not proud of it. But this test bank does not help at all.
