The questions on here are totally different from the comptia test review cd's. It would be nice if the answers had an explanation on why they are correct. Will be taking the exam in august, will post results.
Passed the exam this morning, saw around 30-40% from eman and PAOLO dumps, and a lot of reworded questions.
As long as you understand the concept in each question of these dumps, you will do fine. The questions on EAP, LEAP, CHAP, MSCHAP, PEAP were kind of confusing.
I used Professor Messer and eman/PAOLO dumps here to prepare.
834/900 : Good luck everyone!
Some cipher lock systems are connected to a central access control computer. Like many badge systems, this provides for centralized management of access codes, access monitoring, etc.
Tracking is possible for this type of security. Just an FYI
CCTV you have to consider the amount of storage it would take to accurately track access or to have a live guard there to monitor.
this is not an easy question but my best answer would actually be the cipher lock. Good luck on this question.
Research i have found answers point to D
Used EMAN's and Anonymous's dumps ,between 4 dumps, 1/3rd were exactly on the exam a third were reworded and another third were completely new. Used company skillport, Kindle ebook from Amazon and Prof Messers videos before spending a week with these dumps,
Score 866 out of 900
are you guys just studying "Exam A". im asking because i hear alot about 30% of the questions here repeating on the cert exam. im guessing that you guys didnt look at "Exam B" "Exam C" and "Exam D". please respond. thanks
passed today with an 815. Less than 30% of question are from this dump or any other. The only way to pass is to know the subject!!!! I have worked within IT security for sometime, studied the concepts, read the books and watched the excellent Prof M; however there is no short cut and nor should there be... Good Luck with studying and keep positive
It is NOT hiring additional personnel. A CCTV would allow her to monitor and have a 1 time cost to purchase and install and are relatively inexpensive (few hundred) versus a SALARY for additional employees which will easily exceed the cost of the CCTV.
Passed today! Thanks to everyone who support this site. About 30% of the test was from this site. Studied all the Security+ information I could, and professormesser video (to much information but good for continual studing)
Passed today with 854. Used Comptia Security+ review guide and eman's dumps. About 40-50% of questions were on dumps. Thanks!!!!
Jane, the administrator of a small company, wishes to track people who access the secured server room, which is secured only by a simple hardware key lock. Jane does not have much of a budget or the approval to make significant construction changes. Given the limitations, which of the following can she do in the meantime?
A.Implement a sign in/out sheet with on-site security personnel
B.Install a 24/7 closed-circuit camera system
C.Install a separate hardware lock with limited keys
D.Implement a cipher key lock
answer:A
The questions is asking how can she track people. The simplest and most cost efficent way would be a sign in and sign out sheet. with onsite security personnel It
Gratz!! to all that passed the test..I just bought the Kindle version of CV Conner Comptia Security+ Study Guide and to my surprise its basically a dump of the same questions and answers to the first 250 questions of this dump. Also bought Darril Gibson Study Guide got great reviews on Amazon. Good luck all!!
Also a comment on this question
Jane, the administrator of a small company, wishes to track people who access the secured server room, which is secured only by a simple hardware key lock. Jane does not have much of a budget or the approval to make significant construction changes. Given the limitations, which of the following can she do in the meantime?
You can TRACK the people who enter the room with a CCTV. Look at the key words, not much of a BUDGET and not Significant CONSTRUCTION changes.
Hiring someone Salary wise would exceed the costs of the CCTV
Took the test, passed with a mid 800s score. Maybe 20-30% of the questions were from this dump. PearsonVue in USA.
Took the test today and I passed with 890 :-D
about 50% or 60% of new questions (not seen in any of the dumps here). few tricky ones..
Two weeks studying: Professormesser, CBT nuggets and those current dumps were great and helped, but I already have a very good background in security..
All in All, I think my exam in particular was easy, I recall just few questions about cryptography standards and much more about general security (shoulder surfing, worm, botnet, NIPS and blah blah blah)
Good luck all!
@ Eman : Thanks for your help and fortunately that question was not on my test, but the MTTR was =)
Cheers!
I took the test.. the good news is I got over 840.. The bad news in that there were less than a dozen questions from here on the test.. (8 that were VERY similarly worded and a couple that were kinda close)
That said, this was VERY good at covering the concepts and allowing me to associate terms so that on questions I didn't KNOW the answer to, I tended to pick answers that reflected information from this..
I watched professormesser videos, did elearning stuf, and CBT nuggets, as well as the all in one security plus book..
good luck to all!!!
@G Well hopefully that question wont be on the test :o) if so roll the dice and choose B.
Eman, regarding the question.. I thought about this as well.. but what about the cost associated with the on-site security personnel ?
Also this question is also confusing. notes from another source..
Jane, the administrator of a small company, wishes to track people who access the secured server room, which is secured only by a simple hardware key lock. Jane does not have much of a budget or the approval to make significant construction changes. Given the limitations, which of the following can she do in the meantime?
A. Implement a sign in/out sheet with on-site security personnel
B. Install a 24/7 closed-circuit camera system
C. Install a separate hardware lock with limited keys
D. Implement a cipher key lock
Study Guide Answer: B
Answer from another source: D
Correct Answer: A
The goal is to track access to the server room, and the restrictions are budget and approval for construction. The restrictions eliminate B automatically. The separate hardware lock will restrict access further, but not track entry - plus employees will be able to duplicate the key, making this the worst possible solution. A cipher key lock is just a knob/locking mechanism with an entry combination (doesn't actually track entry). There are more sophisticated electronic key card / biometric scanning based lock mechanisms that can transmit usage data to a remote terminal, thus tracking entry into the facility; however, these solutions are expensive, therefore this option is not viable because of the budget restriction.
The only option left is to implement human access control at the entrance to the server room
@joker..thanks..I have seen dumps with B or C. But I agree with you that B is a better choice for "Tracking" ..good luck on the test
Another one
Jane, the administrator of a small company, wishes to track people who access the secured server room, which is secured only by a simple hardware key lock. Jane does not have much of a budget or the approval to make significant construction changes. Given the limitations, which of the following can she do in the meantime?
A.Implement a sign in/out sheet with on-site security personnel
B.Install a 24/7 closed-circuit camera system
C.Install a separate hardware lock with limited keys
D.Implement a cipher key lock
Dump says D, Answer should be B.
The correct answer is D Risk Transference. What is the number of the question on this exam? Take a look at question number 426 on the exam I posted, answer is Risk transference.
@Joker..thanks your correct.good luck on the exam
Pete, a security administrator, would like to implement laptop encryption to protect data. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) believes this will be too costly to implement and decides the company will purchase an insurance policy instead. Which of the following is this an example of?
A.Risk avoidance
B.Risk deterrence
C.Risk acceptance
D.Risk transference
Dump indicates A, but I believe answer is D.
I'm sitting this exam later today as well. I'll keep everyone posted.
Thanks @ Eman. @ Brid please let us know. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
@Nard4 I have no idea how good it is since I have not taken the test..I can tell you its the latest dump. I only found 1 question that has a incorrect answer.
Which of the following is the correct formula for calculating mean time to restore (MTTR)? I believe the right answer is A-MTTR = (time of fail) / (time of restore)
Taking the test later today.. Will let you know how good this one is..
@ Eman is this a valid dump. Haven't looked at it just yet. Are there a lot if incorrect answers.
This is the latest dump from ipass4sure.good luck all.
