Pass Your CompTIA SY0-301 Exam Easy!

Passed the exam on 10 Aug, but without the help of this dump. You really need to put in the hard work and study.

There is a lot of good questions in here that are related. Be warned! I ran across a lot of different questions that I did not recognize from this dump. Barely skimmed passing it with a 770 with 700 being the lowest score needed!

I also read from front and back of Sybex Security+ (latest edition by Dulaney). It's really not a great book for studying for security+ for it's low in depth cover but it's something I guess.

Used this test Comptia.Actualcert.Sy0-301.v2012-01-05.by.Netbel.293q.vce and used CompTIA passguide SY0-301 v2012-05-16 by PAOLO 595q.vce, viewed Prof Messer videos, and read the Comptia Exam Cram Sec + book. There were lots of questions that was not on the two downloads. I thaught I failed but I pass with 825. Use process of limitation if you not sure of the answers

I passed with 877 using two collections from here and Darril's book. A guy at the testing facility said that completing courses and obtaining a degree are more valuable for job hunting than getting these certificates though. I dunno if he is right or not but could be since he knows a lot of stuff. I want to do the server and linux certifications and that's pretty much it for comptia stuff. I think doing microsoft certifications are valuable as well. I was reading MCSA would take 18 months to complete.

dump still valid. passed with a 857 today. I would recommend watching professor messer videos and getting Darril Gibson Security+ SY0-301 Study guide to get a full grasp of the theory behind it.

Studied ONLY this and Danielusn dump, which are extremely similar and passed with 880 @ PearsonVUE testing center in VA. Only about 4 questions were not from these 2 dumps. I read Mike Myers book 2 chapters per day, but didn't really retain much info. studied these 2 dumps for about a week.

This dump is still valid..I passed with 877. There are enough questions to pass. However you really have to know the concepts. I used this dump and the book by sybex to cross reference all the terms. Take is now before they change it lol I can't remember the new questions.sorry.

Passed today morning 857/900 at prometrics in Georgia, usa.


I have no background with security+ and I was very nervous and anxious about this exam. I repeatedly went through this dump, went through all professor messors video, went through the dump once which has 477 questions which is from 2011 stressing myself on studying this material even in the weekends.And here is what I found out on the test today.

80 questions were word to word from this dump.
rest of the 20 questions were randomly picked from the old dump with CompTIA Actualtests SY0-301 v2011-09-09 by BigLee 477q.vce and from the practice exam CD which comes with CompTIA Security+ Deluxe Study Guide: SY0-301: Emmett Dulaney .

If you study this dump you will pass with 80% without doubt and if you want to get 100% then you might have to go through above things.

Passed today with a 863. Most all of the questions I had were from this dump. There were only a couple of questions that I did not recognize. Thank you to all that gave input.

I just passed today with a 853 with Prometric. Surprisingly , 80% of the questions were from the dumps below. The other 20%, you'll have to use common sense. I have a vivid imagaination if anyone have questions. I will post some new questions that were not in these dumps.

questions are valid but on the test they will be reworded but use the same concept. i would recommend reading the book and looking over these questions. i passed with 800/900 04/28/2012

@ cr. I had a look at the latest dump posted 04272012 and i would say its about 10% valid. A bit similar to the Netbel dump with similar questions.

DMZ are you able to tell if the dump posted on 04272012, is a valid dump. Questions seem to differ slightly from the dumps. We are wondering how this compares to the exam.

Took my exam at a prometric centre. Some questions posted on this site by other people helped and were on the exam as well..and those were people in the United States. So the questions I got seem to be the same the United States people got as well.

Does anyone know which is the latest Actual Test dump? The latest I have found is version 11.2, but it is is dated Jan 2012... Would anyone know what version is the most current.

I wouldn't count DMZ comment 100%. He/she took exam in South Africa.

DMZ where did you take your exam ~ was it Pearson Vue or Prometrics.

Wrote today and passed 847/900. Tough exam. About 30 questions from various dumps. The rest were all new questions. You have to study hard for this exam. Used netbel, jtdion and danielusn dumps, but very few questions were on the exam.

Watched Pr.Messer videos, and bought MesureUp which was really a good l study material! I liked a lot. It has explanations of every single thing! would recommend alot. dummies do not explain anything, so u just memorize and then forget, but if you wanna study get something like Transcender or MeruseUp.
And I would say that Danielsen and this dummi are same with 2-3 questions difference.

Just passed the exam with 800 points. Dump is still valid but not 100%.. i used only dumps and experience. It will be worthful to have a look on book as well. best of luck for those who ar wiling to give exam.

I just took the test about three hours ago with 833 pass. I didn't solely rely on this dump, if I did, I will probably be toasted by now LOL.. Nonetheless, the best good you could do yourself is to use these dumps and research/google/textbook any term or word you don't understand from this dumps. That helped me for about 50% of the test. Two, read the text book if you don't wanna gamgle. Mind you, you could be lucky and pass by just using this dumps but that's will take some reasonable portion of luck. THANKS for all your comments here, it helped me study a little bit harder because this test is not easy man!

I have memorized all tthat dump.. but you know what? when i take the exam, only 10 or 15 of this exam..maybe more but was expresed in other word.. my recommendation, you can do the same, but remember to understand the terminology and another thing that help me is the comment of the people that post many new question.. because almost all those question come out in the exam.

im very newbie in the security system. study this exam i can learn more about this area.i really like it. also,i dont know so much english.im latin. so, its posible to pass that exam if you read all the comment, kwnow the terminology and memorize this dump.

morning,

i took and passed the exam yesterday morning. i used a prometric testing center in florida. this study guide helped, i had about 10 - 15 questions from the danielsun guide and about another 5 or so from this quide. what was more helpful were the lose questions posted on the different guides. i had almost all of them in one form or another. most of the questions i had that were not anywhere to be found were variations of the questions that can be found in the guides. i do remember the following questions:

the other two answers were totally pointless.

I am going to take the test on the 15th. So far covered the netbel and dion dumps. plus professor messier videos. So advice to pass this sunday.

I am Security+ Certified! I took the exam today and passed with 813..used this dump and watched professor messors videos which believe me is a great resource tool to get a good understanding of the material to prepare for the exam. I would advise you to print the dump out and study the questions with only the answer showing by marking out the incorrect answers, then take the test gen to measure your score. Also, for each answer Google the answer and understand why thats the answer. This dump counts for only about 30 questions.

@Jake..Thanks for your reply but i choose this answer based on that the TACACS+ only uses Authentication and Authorization and the Radius is user for the Authentication only..Kerbros system make Authentication and Authorization for the system based on his ticketing system..Tacacs option is out as this protocol uses TCP..that how i thought in the exam and neglect Radius option from my answers..i respect you answer if you are sure for it, i just want only to share what i can remember

passed 3/03/2012 , 871/900 I used the book "All-in-one CompTIA Security+ exam guide 3rd edition" as my main material and this dump as my secondary material and yet jaf, EDH, and upright's comments are also help a lot (thank you guys).
The exam contains 5% of this dump.
My suggestion is ,because the book doesn't contain all things in exam (about 90%), after you study the book or others material you have then study this dump again STUDY not REMEMBER. Every thing relate to the questions in this dump and comments of those guys I mentioned above.
I can not guarantee you'll pass the exam but ONE thing I can guarantee is that this dump and everything I mentioned above contain essential concepts cover in the exam.
***The exam is not that hard guys, do not worry. It's depend on your preparation.

The answer would definitely be B) Radius because it uses UDP and uses AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting).

Hello all i just passed my exam today in Egypt with 800+..the dump cover between 20 to 30 % only you have to know each part you study and learn the concept of the material ..Professor Messer is really good and i watched CBT nuggets but Messer is better..study hard the exam is not easy at all.

Took the exam today (March/30) and passed with 855 score. I prepared for the test by studying the two dumps below. Also, all the questions described by Boobhe (ActualTests dump) were on my exam. If you study these surelz you´ll get 700 score. I also watched professormesser ´s 3 domain videos. It contains good info but does not help this test. Don't waste your time. Here is my inputs. If you study all of them you can get 800 score.
1.theres a question on there that asks about an unsafe old protocol that is in use for instant messaging.
the answers is JABBER and that is the correct answer.
2. which two were limited to 64bit block sizes, BLOWFISH the right answer.

Pretty much have to echo what EDH said. I passed the exam this morning (3-30-12) 843/900 & I pretty much had the same experience. This dump , (which I practically had memorized) accounted for anywhere between 15-20 questions. Many others were similar. Bottomline I'd say use this dump along with other studying (book, online software-for me it was skillsoft online course offered by my job) you should be fine. As long as you studied and not rely on just dumps alone you should be able to figure out majority of answers just by deductive reasoning. But again this dump did have i'd say 15-20% word for word or ridiculously similar.

Passed this morning 875/900 @ Prometric and since I used everyones comments here to help me I figured it only right to add my own input as well.

This dump helped slightly (10-12 word for word) but mostly because I cross referenced everything. Watching the Messer video plus Virtual Testing Company videos (downloaded from demenoid) helped alot, these videos map either directly or very closely to material on the exam.

Also the boobhe questions as everyone else has also verified appeared on the exam as well, I will try to think of some questions and add them later.

So just took the Exam today, yes I passed (March 30th). Here was the breakdown the best I can put it. Between this exam (....Actualcert.Sy0-301.v2012-01-05.by.Netbel.293q.vce) and the other popular 330 quesiton VCE (JTDion one),.I would say that it does a good 50-60% of very similar questions with very few questions actually being exactly the same other than the "persons" name in the question. About 20-30% of the test was just genearl IT knowledge quesitons that I already knew or was easy to figure out and the other about 20-25% of the questions I don't remember seeing in any vce but might have skimed them in the book as I looked through it for things I didn't understand from the VCE. My advice, currently study the two vce's I mentioned above and then look through a SY0-301 book for just general knowledge questions and things you don't understand in the VCE. Hope that helps!

The test had about 12-15 questions from the Netbel dump. I'm glad that I read the exam cram, Watched professor messer and did a few other practice tests. Professor messer breaks down all of the sections of the tests to a comprehensive level. Go visit him.

I want to thank God for helping me pass the exam, he was different from others because they had enough hard questions that I never saw in VCE's, but as I studied enough to take the VCE's just helped a little and nothing else.

If you want to pass this exam you have to study hard, this test is different from other tests. I am very pleased to have passed and I wish you best of luck to those who are still studying! 10-20% from this VCE´s and not word for word!

Passed 856 studing netbel, biglee, dion, jtdion? only about 10-15 questions on the test,it ishard, you need to study every question even the wrong ones so you know what they are and what they do, also use professormesser.com it is 14hrs of videos explaining about 95% of what will be on the test, i tested in the U.S. pearsonvue. GOOD LUCK

well i took the SYO 301 exam today( 3-21-12) and it was extremely difficult i barely passed!! there were only about 5-10 questions on there that were some what similar but not really at all. i studied the top 6 dumps and i guess they were good to kinda know whats on the exam but 98% of the questions i really had to think about for a few min each. i would definitely know the acronyms and understand everything about them. i would say that maybe 3% of the 6 dumps i went through were kinda similar. good luck to everyone that's all i can say

People you have to study. Just dump is not enough. I study both dumps Netbeal and 330 questions just for trainning, book security + and professor messer (this is the best video lab ever) , i pass with 851 score.

Oops - I made a mistake in my previous post. I also used that response on another dump. If you want to see the questions that the user Boobhe provided, go to the Dion dump (NOT the JTDion dump).

@lgreen: I took the test today - scoring above 850. The Dion, Netbel, Herbit, and Leesa dumps (these all had roughly 290-299 questions) all use the same questions. I did NOT see any new questions in the two new dumps (Herbit, Leesa) that were also on the exam. I also used the JTDion dump (330 questions) to study. I suggest also using the Professor Messer videos, and a book. I didn't have a book and it would have REALLY helped with referencing the questions on the dumps. Instead I had to Google search and cross reference every answer on the dumps to see why it was correct. I couldn't find any free study guides/books on the internet, so I was mostly using Wikipedia and Professor Messer for referencing. Buy a book - it'll be much easier!!

For other questions, scroll down the page to see Boobhe's posts about newer questions. I had a lot of the questions he listed on the test. If you use any of the 290-299 dumps, and the 330 question certkey JTDion dump, and ProfMess and/or a book, you should pass just fine. You will see 30-50% word for word questions from the dumps, the rest are reworded or completely different altogether. DON'T just do the dumps and assume you'll pass - learn the concepts!

pass 809/900. about 30% of question from dump. =(

Sorry my question but Chris from United States said that this exam is real, and Obster from South Africa said that it is not real, how this is possible?

About 90% of my questions came from this dump. I passed with 879/900.

Just wrote the exam & passed. Only about 10-15 questions were from this dump alone. The certkey 330 dump also not valid. You can't expect to pass this exam on braindumps alone. This dump is a good study tool & it assisted me with knowledge. I'd say study all the concepts hard from study material & make sure you are prepared for any question they throw at you. Good luck it's a difficult one!!!

Well I flunked the Pearson VUE last SAT I have one more chance to take it again on Tuesday I will once again be taking it at a Pearson VUE location in Columbia MD. I am 50 years old I don't have too many options left at my age to do something I just got out of the Army last year this is all I have left. I'm not saying this to make anyone feel sorry for me but just to be aware of my circumstances and how much it means for me to pass this test so if there is any one out there who can recall what this exam is in order for me to even pass please let me know I have been cramming over this for two weeks but it's very hard and disappointing when i studied that damn CompTIA Security+ Certification Study Guide and come to find out only about ten of the questions were word for word and some of the actual test questions were not even part of the practice test so I just hope some one actually has a clue as to some real study material I might use to pass this thing next Tuesday. If so please e-mail me asap. Please anyone I would be very very Thankful.

I studied this material and got an 818. About 75% of these questions were on the test. Thank you!!!

Thist VCE not is valid.. some questions.. about 3 or 4 .. Netbell 293q still valid, with 70% of question ! I passed with 859/900 in 13/03/2012 !!!

Passed test today, most of these are only about 20-30% accurate, know your stuff.
