XFX 390's go back to blowers?

Has anyone ever thought of/ attempted rigging up a shroud - attached externally - to PULL the hot air away from the bracket vents via 120mm+ fans? Not much surface area to work with on the fan input side, but I might try this myself to help tame my reference card, whilst retaining its...

Nope, was nowhere close to what Q3/ UT99 was unfortunately. Not only were hardware requirements too steep for most people, the game launched with many bugs which drove people away even further. There really wasn't a second chance once the game finally got patched to a decent level, and PCs...

I wouldn't mind a proper revival of Quake 4! From pre to post-patch, I loved the hell out of that game. Movement and weapons feel that just shits all over Quake 3, IMO.

Lol, you're still caught up on this. The ad was meant to attract old-school FPS players, and it did a darn good job at it, IMO. Those mechanics (health regen, etc.) are the very things we are sick of, in all fairness.

Couldn't stop playing last night! I kept trying to dodge-jump in humerous fashion. The wall-dodges feel great in giving a slight boost to speed, and overall movement/ momentum seems to strike a perfect balance between what I remembered how UT was (99, 2004 specifically), and Quake. In contrast...
