So I just bought my first SSD; OCZ Vertex LE 100g

Wendy I don't profess to be an expert on SSD's but when I run "fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify" from an elevated command prompt, Windows 7 say's that Trim is enabled. Is Windows 7 reporting falsely? My raided hardrives are far from being full and I've seen no degradation as of yet.

Yes and for those who want to know Trim is supported in Raid 0 with the Vertex LE (sandforce) :)

Intel drivers now pass TRIM command to Windows

With the newest driver 9.6 Trim is supported in raid with my Vertex LE's (sandforce)

I haven't posted in a long time, but with my bonus check this year plus Newegg had owed me a discount, (on one of them) I bought two. Some Benches from a few days ago, no optimizations just the basics.. I'm happy so far....

ASUS 3870X2

Thats why I'm looking at the asus 3870 x2 it has 4 dvi's so I could run 3 monitors. Really don't want to upgrade my MB right now and I think this will give me the most bang for the buck. It's $195 at new egg with a 30 rebate makes it $165 did not know GeCube or his mad them also will have to...

ASUS 3870X2

I have an Abit IP-35 E motherboard, only one PCIE slot, and I have three monitors right now I have one Nvida 6200 LE on the PCIE and one 6200 on the PCI to run the three monitors, I'm debating about upgrading my motherboard or just buying the ASUS 3870X2. For those of you who own the ASUS...

3 pci express 16

With 3 pci express 16 slot motherboard and three monitors would it be possible to run two cards in either sli or crossfire mode for the center monitor and allow the other card to run the other two adjacent monitors? Obviously all three cards would be the same manufacture and if needed the same...

Firefox 3.0 RC1 is out!

I don't like the new address bar and would like to see the option of turning it off, IE 6,7 and the Beta of 8 have this option. But in a e-mail from Mozilla it dose not seem like it's going to happen. [b]

No I don't playgames, unless you call Solitaire a game. :) my uses are pretty basic the three I said above. Chief Architect,CAD and ripping. 996GT2 about flashing to quadro, thanks have to search the fourms more on that idea.

Stangs55 Don't hold back tell us how you really feel about Maxtor ;) I had my issues with them also. I don't post much my advice is go for it. You won't be sorry, as for bang for the buck yea you could do better, but satisfaction is worth the extra $$$

Which Raid is Faster?

I have an Abit IC7-G which has ICH5 raid by Intel build in the south bridge and a Silicon Image controller on the PCI bus. I also have a WD Raptor and plan on getting another and running them as raid 0. My question is which would be faster, ICH5 or the Silicon Image? Has anyone actually...
