Thanks for all the responses. I'll definatly try this. Devistater, sorry if i was unclear, I'm admittedly bad with the terminology. There isn't an issue of range, but numbers. My campus fills a city block and there is only one AP that we have to move around when we need wireless...

intel 2200BG & Netgear WGR614v5 WEP

I appreciate the suggestions. I have installed the 9.x generic wireless drivers from the Intel website. I have manually set all of the power settings to maximum performance. Still getting failure to reach the DHCP server in the router. The same as if I had typed in the wrong WEP password...

HOT!! Firefox 1.0 released today

Firefox allows me to surf the web without feeling dirty like I would with IE. and without missng all the pictures like with Lynx. It has made my all-time list of best things on the planet. Right under Excedrin.
