What kind of O/Cing results you guys have with Ti4200s?

Chaintech128mb 295/585, could go to 300/595 w/ no artifacts but for aging purposes ill keep it a little lower.

Help me decide on a videocard!

id say the 9700 no question, you could wait for the geforce fx to come out and see where that rates with the radeon but beyond that I wouldnt bother waiting for too much else.

Radeon 7500 64mb question - is it good enough...

The 7500 should be about as fast as your current card and should suffice. If you get the 9000 series definately try and find a pro since the non pro really isnt much faster (if any) than a 7500.

Upgrading 2d image quality....

Refresh is set at 85hz, res is 1024x768. Processor is a Duron 650@~790, 384 MB SDRAM, etc. As long as the replacement can play MOHAA at 8x6 alright I dont really care about speed.

The 7500 GPU isnt that horrible. Its the same core as the original Radeon except clocked a little faster and a minor enhancement or two. It all depends on your definition of acceptable gaming though. If youre happy w/ 1024x768x32 w/o FSAA then itll probably be fine.

ti4200 128MB or 64MB

I got a chaintech 128 meg 4200, OCed up to 290/584. Does pretty well in UT2003. Cant say anything about Doom3 as not much has been released regarding it. Only stock thing out in the market right now that can beat an OCed 4200 is a 4600 or a Radeon 9700 though, both of which arent in the price...

Any point in overclocking my ti4200 g4 with a 450 p3?

If you turn up the details enough you will see a difference, but if you just play at low resolutions, no FSAA, etc, you wont notice a difference.:confused:

Thoughts on ASUS v8420 GF4 Ti 4200

At least 1 month on any kind of availability at all I would think for the 9500 series. As far as performance goes, I would expect the 9500 PRO to be a bit faster on release with the full 128 MB memory, probably as fast as a 4600. Although once the 9500 Pro is released its only a little while...

Question about UT2K3 Demo benchies

probably just do all of em...the outdoor scenes are a little tougher probably but no biggie. ive seen the numbers for asbestos and antalus the most though

Hmm power strip does not let me o/c memory in 1mhz increment..??

I had that same problem in Rivatuner actually, but i flashed the bios recently so its no longer a problem. does coolbits give you the same problem?

AHHHRRG!...ARTIFACTS that FREEZE my PC...GainWard 4200!!

Do you OC the processor/FSB at all? Just sounds like what happens whenever I try to do this and then run the UT2K3 benchmark...
