Which NAS device should I get?

have you upgraded the memory on the qnap? also how does the WOL work. there's a wattage quote for operational use, then one quote for hiberation i think the HDs go to spindown, then a 1watt quote for the whole device ready to recv a WOL. the WOL has to be sent from a PC... is it a command line...

is it possible in a situation where users have xp workstations, and network shares for a company are set for group membership but a special folder desires password protection instead of file password protecting...

so emc retro makes file to file copies instead of a proprietary 'image'? so if you backup a 60gb drive in 'file to file' form then your backup drive needs 60gb of space? essentially it's just doing a big file copy from source to destination drive?

I would not say 'a lot'... all those financial companies are humming along... see the markets lately? also, he went light on them, he could have squeezed heavier fines than he did but he purposely stopped because he had mentioned that there's a point where he'd start hurting the economy...
