What are normal temps for an overclocked Opteron 165?

1: Temps sensor on your board may be off 2: XP-90 is a great heatsink, but I have noticed that it is less efficient at higher temps.

Take back accelero and get zelman?

ya I used a zalman vf700cu on my x1800xt, and now I am using an Accelero. At the worst, it is 5C cooler under load, at best it id 10+ cooler....

I have read most of this thread, and searched for info yep found little, so I will ask here. I an pretty confused on the temp and voltage readings on this board, the 9NPA+ Ultra. How accurate is the CPU voltage and temp readings? On my K8N Neo2 I could get my 170 Opty to 2.7 with 1.4-1.425...

Mine worked with an Opteron 170 at first boot....it shipped with the latest BIOS As for the Zalman, it only cost like $6, and it looks cool :)

oem x1800xt @ $239

Accelero x2 cools quite a bit better than the Zalman. The Vf700CU is a great cooler, but I had temps of around 75c under load. I get up to about 70 with the accelero x2, with 2 instances of Prime 95 going. Usually it is around 65 or so.
