you want a P4 that has a 64 bit architechture? look no further than Prescott. Sure, its not enabled, but its there ..... Just like HT was there before it was enabled ............ Why do you think there were so many problems witht he release of prescott and why it was delayed so long.

Doom3 Audio Issue

So, I have an asus a7n8x nforce 2 board, and i use the onboard audio through spdif to an external surround sound systerm. After playing the game for a few minutes, the audio goes all funky, but if i switch it back to stereo as opposed to surround, it fixes the sound, at which time i can switch...

it DOES perform better, thats a fact. there will be a release by the end of this year, and another on a new form factor in Q1 04. There are alot of things that are going to be in prescott other than performance stuff too. look at IDE, there are some things dropped there that you should be...

Video card moron needs help..

Geforce FX 5600 or a Radeon 9500/9600. its a pretty tough choice, but i would probably go with a radeon 9500, and im an nvidia guy, but like i said, its a pretty tough choice.

These are a new design for sony, they are suppose to be much better than anything they had released before, and thats why im trying to get an opinion from someone who has used one, not someone guessing what it should look like based on the history .... i can do that by myself. Thanks for trying...

i bought it because i currently dont have a monitor, and it wont be here for another few days, and if it turns out that its garbage, i can always cancel the order. I just moved across the country, and i wasnt about to have my CRT shipped, and i couldnt go any longer without using my computer...

I just ordered one of these from newegg for $506 - $60 discount. it has a 500:1 contrast ratio, 16 ms rise/fall, dvi in, and 2 analog inputs on it, among other features. Does anybody have any input on this monitor ? has anyone used it, or seen it in use ? how does it stack with other decent...
