Audigy 2 > Creative X-fi xtreme gamer/audio

I have an Audigy 2zs in my older computer and the X-fi PCIex card in my current system. Overall they have both performed really well for me. The Audigy2 ZS can do 7.1 through coaxial, while the X-fi has optical in and out. They don't sound any better than just plugging in the analog 3.5mm jacks...

new computer build - what should I get to play my mp3s?

I find Itunes to be the best program at organizing and listening to music. It's easy to browse by album art or if you have taken the time to fill in most information about songs finding them is a easy and creating play lists is drag and drop. WMP11 can contend although it looks very unpolished...

replacement for mx518

Get Logitech on the line and get a replacement. As far as it comes to replacements they are the best out there. My MX1000 started having issues with the right click button and they promptly sent me out a new one.

Vision vs Ipod 5th gen sound quality
