Here is an Anandtech review of the i3 that compares it to (among others) the Phenom II x4 630 & 935. The i3 looks more comparable to the 630, performing better in single and double threaded tests and worse with more threads. It performs much better than either of the AMD chips in power...
I saw a big banner outside the store saying it was their 25th anniversary, but I didn't notice anything special inside. Maybe tomorrow and through the weekend.
This particular deal was in Wednesday's paper.
I just picked this up in SoCal.
Intel i3 530 and Gigabyte GA-H55-UD2H for $114.99 - $15 MIR
The rebate I got today was only good through purchases today, so I don't know if they will extend it.
You have a choice of the GA-H55-S2H as well, though I don't know why you would pick that over...
It worked last night. I went to CompUSA through Bing and searched on WD20EARS. I applied the $10 coupon from another site. I didn't see anything saying that Bing wouldn't work, and after ordering I got my email from Bing with the 12%.
I didn't do anything special.
I just picked this up from compusa for $74.39 + $4.44 shipping (no tax in CA)
$139.99 - $10 (coupon code) - $40 (MIR) - $15.60 (12% bing)
3.7 cents per GB. Are you kidding me?
If you want to save some money, you can buy an alligator shoe kit for only $70 plus shipping.

Are you sure about that? You can't get the i7 alone for anywhere near that price, let alone an MB combo.
[edit]: Frys did have the i7 with a Biostar awhile back for $240 after a $20 rebate. Not exactly the same price ($30 more, and you end up with a Biostar), but still a good deal.
From the new Costco coupon book:
Acer 24" Widescreen LCD #421687 will go on sale Oct 15 for $169.99
http://www.costco.com/Browse/P...t.aspx?Prodid=11478552
Pretty damn cheap for a 24". How low can they go?
Nope, its totally not worth it. The perfect weather would probably be too much for your system, and the threat of riots every 20-30 years in a small part of LA to which I have never been and will never go is enough to keep any east coaster away. I probably shouldn't tell you this, but since it...

In theory, that is another advantage to the Ooma setup. Ooma sits between your modem and your router, so it can suck up all the bandwidth it wants. That means your VOIP will always get first...
I had my home landline ported to Ooma two weeks ago. So far I haven't noticed any difference. I split the line (with the standard splitter that came with the Ooma) and plug it into a four handset base station and to my DishNetwork DVR. The DVR is happy and the phone works fine. I have read...
Is that plan part of their U-verse? My understanding is that U-verse phone service is VoIP, so I am curious what difference (if any) exists between AT&T VoIP service and one of the third party providers such as Magic Jack?
Does AT&T have any advantage if they are both VoIP?
I got out of the habit of Starbucks when I switched jobs.. I haven't been at all in at least 6 months, and just don't miss it. Once every couple of weeks I go to a local coffee place (much better coffee and better pastries, for slightly less money), but what I really discovered is that for...
