either take the cab for flat fee or LIRR to jamaica then transfer to airtrain. E line is a total mess, it's a hit or a miss --- anywhere from 25 minutes to 2 hours. you can save a few bucks if you take the E but it might cost you your flight... unless you leave like 2 hours early.
