So we just moved and using this modem/router combo was giving us spotty WIFI coverage throughout the house. Got a mesh wifi which solved that with using this Netgear device as modem only. I tried to connect my desktop PC directly to it as it still had another ethernet port available and I am not...

Are there any good space Sims out there?

Elite Dangerous gets my vote for space flight sims. And yes, I bought a HOTAS just for it...if only the cheapest one along with foot pedals or whatever they are called. Awesome in VR too!

I just picked up a set of Klipsch Pro media 2.1 THX certified speakers

Still use my set of 5 paired with a slim Sony receiver ( as spkrs are 4 ohm) and a sub for PC gaming. Oh, and they do say its THX certified or whatever.....;)

General VR discussion thread

I have the Vive but if I were getting into this right now, the Oculus Rift would be the one I'll get. I chose the former due to room scaling which I thing the latter has now...I think.

How big is your gaming display?

Using a Sony 43" 4K TV as monitor/TV and I sit about 3-4 feet away. Good stuff!

Today's Amazon Prime Complaint is

I guess it varies. I get some stuff earlier, like they say Monday then I see it on my porch Sunday. Most of the time it is 2 days when they say 2 days. One gripe I have about Prime though is the pricing scheme or whatever you might call it. One time I was browsing, placed an item in the cart...

Should I switch to monitor from TV or upgrade TV ?

I use a 43" 4k TV as a monitor and while its great at desktop distance, I am not actually sold on getting larger ones like 65" for a 10 foot viewing distance. I agree that a pj with a minimum of 100" would be best for 10 feet or more viewing distance.

Actually kinda like Gambit. You just go in there blasting away, running around picking up motes then going back to deposit them. I usually have a good enough team, not had any of those invader types ruining it for me. Of course, I always have a long ranged weapon handy for enemy guardians...
