Latency issues on the east coast?

Ive noticed it since Friday evening, which was the 7th i believe.

Latency issues on the east coast?

Anyone having some strange latency lately on the east coast? Im in VA, and play alot of team fortress 2 online, and normally my pings were in the teens - 20s on my favorite servers, now they are generally 60-100. Its not my routers or PC's, because i have changed all of that out. No...

Baldur's Gate 2 - am I doing something wrong?

BG2 is not easy. Just expect to have to reload alot more than most modern games that are more forgiving. Also, DO NOT accept level drain. NEVER walk around with more than 1 level drained. Go back to town and restore. Roleplaying is fun, but remember your party is a group of hardened killers...

Scariest game of all time?

System Shock 2 was truly scary, it didnt rely on just startling the player like most "scary" games. Undying was creepy too. The original Doom freaked me out pretty hardcore too. Half Life had its moments, the run from the Gargantua down the cave while it was pretty much on your heels actually...

Firefox is Firefuxed

just for the heck of it do all this http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox walks you through removing firefox completely, including all the stuff that gets left behind when you do a normal uninstall through add/remove programs.

Need a cheap, basic cooler for a Pentium D 820

Whos got a rare CPU?

Got a Cyrix 6x86MX-PR200 here. Runs on a 66mhz bus and 2.5x multiplyer. It also uses a toasty 2.9v and has in bold letters across the die FAN/HEATSINK REQUIRED. :) Also there is an excellent condition TRS-80 sitting in front of me, though its not mine. Edit: Also found a K6-2...

I am in a panic. I was cleaning my Viewsonic P95F and I accidentally scratched it in the middle with my fingernail. I didnt scratch the glass it doesnt seem like, just the anitglare coating. Is there any way to fix this? Its not deep, but its painful to look at, and there are 2 smaller...

USB - Ethernet adapter with native drivers

Im a tech, and sometimes "doing it right" is neither the easiest or most effective solution. Saves temendous amounts of time when you can just plug in the adapter and your good to go.

Simple question, I need a USB to ethernet adapter that XP will pick up without need for drivers. I had an ADS brand one years ago, it died, and now i have a linksys that is working fine but I need one that doesnt require a driver disk in XP. TIA :)
