SSD MS Latency vs IOPS

We have a server side application that has fairly tight tolerances to read latency, we need reads to be always under 5ms, 10ms at the absolute worst. And given x number of servers with X number of drives how many IOPS can we handle before latency falls out of tolerances. I'm working on setting...

Hi, I'm trying to find a graph that shows how SSD latency scales up as IOPS increases. I assume as the disks get more IOPS the latency would slowly scale up but I can't find any graphs to confirm this. The closest I've found is here...

WCG - Status "Download failed". No estimated time listed.

If you can abort it, then I would. I've not seen that with my WCG work units, I think its a bug on their end though. Is it all your WUs? I'm also attached to WCG but am having no issues.

SIMAP for June 2012 is underway!

Sweet, we're gaining on #8! I've got a little more work in my queues so all my hosts are still crunching away. =) Also if you missed it, SIMAP said they are having a 24 hour power company outage so they are currently down.

Yes stocks would still have higher rates but the average american doesn't understand investing enough to really do stocks or mutual funds. I think most end up with Gov bonds or CDs or some awkward financial product that gets sold to them. If there wasn't the 2% inflation they probably wouldn't...

0% wouldn't be ideal. If inflation was targeted at 0% there would be a lower incentive to invest it. Basically a 2% inflation rate forces you to attempt to invest it some where productive so it doesn't devalue. Its one of the big issues in Japan, they have a huge savings rate but no one invests...

I've seen this a lot. A company wants a younger person, so they can pay less and aren't so set in their ways, yet they also want 10 years experience. Its just not going to happy.
