How's SONY Monitors nowadays ??

Unfortunately the CRT on my nearly 3 year old 19" G400P was starting to go, so I phoned up Sony on Monday afternoon and explained the problem to their tech support ... today, being Wednesday - a brand new G420P arrived which has a warrantee until Jan 2006! Really cant fault their UK support, but...

New nForce2 audio drivers at Windowsupdate again - user beware

DriverVer=12/05/2002,5.10.2917.0 DriverVer=04/08/2003,5.10.2938.0 Certainly looks like there?s an update by looking at the INFs - but I haven't got the onboard sound enabled at the moment as there isn?t any way to override the bass and treble controls, leaving you with the graphical equaliser...

The + version has the MCP-T which also features the Soundstorm, that has the option of DICE (Dolby Digital Interactive Encoding), along with the aforementioned features you mentioned :)

8RDA+ and SPDIF problems (bass+treble)

I setup my 8RDA+ and the SPD650 SPDIF panel, so I can use the digital output from the board! When it came to installing everything, I ran into a few complications which I can?t help but figure it would be easy to cure. Firstly, if you go into the volume controls using conventional methods...

Has anyone here bought the Lian-Li PC-60 USB B case at newegg.com? How quiet are all 4 fans at full speed?

Its an ADDA AD0812LB-A76GL, cant find the exact model online but this helps to explain what it is: Specifications, and also at AD8025 Series, it shows the noise for the various fans in the model range.

You can buy 3 pin fans to replace the front two if you want to put quieter ones in, as the PCB which controls the fan speed has 2x3pin fan headers :)

Anyone with a Sony G400?

I paid around £470-480 for mine about 1½ years ago, so if you can manage to purchase one for $200 then I'd say its definitely a great deal. I'd say the G400 is among one with the best image quality for 19" monitors, enjoy it :)
