i'm trying to minimize this issue.. don't want to let anyone else know that.. btw, i tried using arp.exe to block that pc.. it block the ip from that pc.. i.e. can't ping anymore.. but the 'net send' still can go through.. i think net send is using netbios name.. even using software firewall...

one of the computer in my office network keep sending message to me thus disturbing me.. i want to block him from sending message to me using the 'net send' command, but i still want to send and receive message to/from other user.. are there any way to block that computer only besides...

i'm using windows xp proffesional, updated to service pack 2; my mobo have built in usb port, not sure is 1.1 or 2.0, but i think the enclosure is backward compatible with 1.1 rite? my friend can help me get a usb2.0 hdd enclosure that can support up to 300gb ide hdd for a cheap price, only...

can i access files on one computer from another via the internet?

Minofifa, I also have situation similar to you.. if you problem solved then my problem will solved too :) anyway, is there a way to map a network drive from one pc to another pc using internet? I can do it easily with LAN, but not sure with WAN/Internet..
