P55 MB with plenty of adjustable fan-controllers?

I'm looking for a new motherboard and a new case. Newer cases, like the Cooler Master II Advanced I've been looking at, include (or support installing) several fans that you could want to control through bios or software from OS, if you, like I, don't like noise. I'm looking for P55-board...

I must admit, that Im going for the easy way - meaning the adaptercable. I must confess though, that Im attracted to the idea of being able to control things myself - improving solderskills (I dont even have a soldering iron :]). The information Ive achieved here is great though. Thx all! :)

I dont understand the point with the bracket-thingie, unless theres an adapter in that setup (which i cant read out of your link). My problem is not mounting the fan on the heatsink, but using the output and control of the graphicscard-fancontroller with a CPU/case-fan. If I get you right, I...

Yes - I updated my signature now... Like this?: I am happy about the performancegain, but i seek a solution thats almost noiseless in normal pc-use (not gaming) I found a place to buy an adapter so I wont have to solder. But I'm a little confused since your actually saying Ill HAVE to cut...

Thats a good question. The accelero X1 cooler was able to use this 7800GT-card with the ability to control the fan-speed, so it should be similar, but I cant find any information on the cooler or through googling. Do you have any suggestions in finding the answer to this?

I want to put a 90 mm casefan on my GPU-cooler but still attached/controlled/powered by the graphicscard itself. The 7800GT has a fancontroller that can change speed between 2D and 3D, which I'd love to keep using. The question is if this is possible: 1) Can the graphics-card deliver...

Second Graphics-slot on the MB uses a printcard 1 inch high. Will it 'collide' with the cooler? THis link shows my MB (not my setup/picture though). So - the question is, if the heatpipes of the cooler (installed on the CPU-side of a 7800GT) will be more that 1 inch from the motherboard?

Ok...i could live with 240, but then it'll be 2.5-3-3-6 or something. Well it probably won't, but 3-3-3-8 would satisfie me, cause the board overall satisfie my needs.

Well 1T is a problem beyond 220-260 (HTT) as far as I've read. The question is, if its not problem to go beyond...say 260 (memory) with good quality ram. I'll look forward to your judgement mezzanine...

I'm running my second pair now, this even worse that the first that ran 3-4-4-8 2T @245. Now I'm running 3-4-4-8 2T @240. I've read tests showing much better results like 3-4-4-8-1T@270-290 (notice the 1T), and the rated speed is 3-4-4-8 @250 (2.75V). Raising the volt doesn't change anything in...
