Hows this Power Supply?

The fan grill in that PSU is installed upside down. It hits the fan because of that. If you flip the fan grill it stops vibrating. I did that...

Hows this Power Supply?

The eXtremePower 500W is enough for your system (I built for a friend a Q6600, ASUS P5K, 8800GTS, etc. using it). But it is very noisy, the FAN spins really fast even at IDLE. It is not very efficient too... The OEM for that unit is Seventeam model ST500BKP.

Corsair VX 450W or 550W

Corsair is citing continuous power at 50oC. Both are high quality PSU based on Seasonic (VX450) or CWT (VX550) models. Here's Jonnyguru's SLI Power Consumption Results: http://www.jonnyguru.com//forums/showthread.php?t=3137 I think the VX550 can power the 8800GTSx2 + Quad-Core CPU system.

20 pin PSU in a 24 pin motherboard

It will be fine if the old 20-Pin PSU is an ATX12V with strong +12V rail.

@ AltaEgoGeek, I don't think you need 1kW to feed a single VGA system. Unless you are going to use like 10 hard-drives or plan to buy another VGA later. So, the Silencer 750W should be fine. As for the multiple vs. single +12V rail, it depends on the wattage of the PSU. For lower wattage...

Have you checked for leaking capacitors? Maybe the +5VSB filter capacitor (probably a TEAPO since it's an Akasa/Enhance PSU) blew because it was powered 24/7 in your machine.

That Xigmatek looks like a CWT unit (red cap over the coils at the back of the PSU). CWT is OEM for the Corsair TX750 and Thermaltake Toughpower.

New Antec EA380 DOA. Bleh

Earthwatts and the Corsair VX450 are both based on Seasonic S12-II. They are pretty much the same thing... Except for the fact that Earthwatts uses OST capacitors and 8cm fan while Corsair uses United Chemi-Con and 12cm fan.

Hello, I'm going to USA and I plan to buy a cell phone there. Is it still possible to buy an unlocked GSM phone in USA? Because I can't find it anymore in newegg, for example. How hard is to find unlocked cell phones in non-online stores? (for example in a shopping mall). thanks
