I know it wasn't total junk - it could run most applications, just not games. But it was also broken, which means that if they want to use it or get a good price selling it, then they have to buy/steal more parts. The hard drive is easy to replace, but good luck finding the exact bracket and...

Someone slipped into my house during the day, probably through an unlocked door. I share a house and sometimes my roommates forget they're the last one out and leave doors unlocked. Luckily for me, thing was a genuine 1998 piece o' junk: Some specs: P3 450 320 MB RAM (maxed out) 8 MB S3 video...

Extension cord needs a break in. More you use it, better the connected audio system sounds...

You'll notice a lot of gas stations have these signs, but there's no solid evidence at all to back this up. It's more an "erring on the side of caution" approach they take, to avoid a lawsuit if it ever turns out to be true. Have a look.

I walked out of my first movie tonight...

There were a LOT of funny scenes in Anchorman. Now that I think about it, they were definitely concentrated later on in the movie, there were some laughs at the start but more spread out. You should have stuck it out. You probably would've come away with a different view of the movie...

But how would the crooks complain exactly? It's like a marijuana farmer complaining to the police that someone is stealing his plants. Edit: I'd run it here at work but I have a feeling I'd get a call/visit from IT about all that bandwidth I used.
