Why Voter ID laws are superfluous

None of those are constitutional rights, so they can have more restrictions. If the government is going to require an ID to vote, they should have to go door to door providing free IDs to everyone who is eligible to vote. I still don't buy than mass numbers of people would risk prison time...

It will never happen, but why not? It sounds no worse than property tax. Most of my net worth is my house, and I'm already taxed at 2% of its value every year. It's not worth even close to $50 million, and I'm even taxed on the portion the bank owns!

PSA - Turn off your TV’s video smoothing, Tom Cruise said so.

The first thing I do with any new TV is turn off all of the "image enhancing" features. With few exceptions, they all make the picture worse. They're mostly there to make them stand out in the store. Brighter, sharper, smoother, and more colorful sells, even if it's fake.
