Learn more about how IOS works, networking in general, and have a functional, secure router to replace my $40 D-Link. I'm interested in entering the networking field when I graduate, and having a background working with some Cisco equipment would be nice.
My D-Link DI-604 has been the best router I've owned, for consumer-level stuff I'd recommend that. Or, you could get something like a Cisco SOHO 91 which is what I'm considering, that's $250 though.
