AFAIK With a Z97 and the i7 4790k, you have a maximum of 16 lanes of PCIe 3.0.
Your nvidia cards require a minimum of 8 lanes each for SLI. You won't have any lanes to give to samsung sm951 as a result.
Since I bought a i7 5820k with 28 lanes, my GTX 780 is down to 8 lanes because with...
Hey guys, just bought the 5820K, Asus x99 Deluxe, 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2800 from Microcenter. Set overclock to XMP Profile 2 (DDR4-3000) in the ASUS UEFI and simply kept upping my multiplier till I reached 4.5 Ghz. Any higher wasn't stable in Windows. Everything else is on auto and the...
LGA2011 does have native PCI-E 3.0, the on-die PCI-E 3.0 controller & the Quad Channel IMC what pushed the interface to 2011 pins.
I'm predicting 8 Core $999 unlocked SKU, 6 Core $599 unlocked SKU & 6 Core $319 locked SKU for IB-E sometime between Q2 13 & Q3 13. No source, just my gut...
On my machine it makes my processor run 10c cooler and pull about 30-40W less at idle. It idles at about 1.2Ghz @ 0.856V and loads at 4.6Ghz @ 1.375V. Low power consumption when I don't load it and lots of power when I need it.
Very happy with this chip, final results in sig. Best part is that the H100 was at the low fan setting with the max temps on two of the cores at 82C, two at 78C and the last two at 76C.
Just finished with the build last night and did some quick overclocking, this was my first set of settings and they passed 10 rounds of full memory LinX. Probably will try another multiplier to see how lucky I really got.
That is usually because the gear ratios on the Autos are taller than the Manuals.
For example the 2012 Mazda 3
Auto:
First Gear Ratio (:1): 3.55
Second Gear Ratio (:1): 2.02
Third Gear Ratio (:1): 1.45
Fourth Gear Ratio (:1): 1.00
Fifth Gear Ratio (:1): 0.70
Sixth Gear Ratio (:1): 0.59
Final...
Dallas, TX to Durham, NC and back about 4 times (~1200 miles). My worst time all by myself was 21hrs coming back to Dallas, due to a very heavy night-time thunderstorm throughout NC & TN and a FWD G6 GXP rental car that was particularly fond of hydroplaning. The best time I have managed so far...
Showing up as "Out of Stock" now. Also the part number corresponds to "Agility 1" (Indilinx). Still it is heck of a price for a $250GB SSD for those who end up getting it.
Not sure how you're setup but I am using a hybrid control scheme of the G27 & wired 360 controller. I have the "Select" and "Back" (In the menu section of the key bindings) mapped to the middle red buttons of the G27. While driving the middle right key is also mapped to flash head lamps along...
I just pre-ordered it off Amazon. Lets hope TDU2 has better support for Logitech G27 than TDU1. In TDU1 Force Feedback was broken in G27 and was never fixed :(
