Nexstar External HD enclosure and a 200gb Maxtor diamond star

I just installed a brand new HD into my Nexstar usb 2.0 enclosure. It needs to be formatted to NTFS. Windows is reading it as an unknown device. Anyone have any pointers?

Setting resolution to 1280x768

Is there a way to hack my settings and get it to display 1280x768? I have a Toshiba M200 with 32mb Geforce FX.

NEED HELP! Lost a bunch of folder while cutting and pasting.

This is critical and I was wondering if there's any tool that is capable of recovering this? The system is running Windows 2000 pro. I'm located in Philadelphia and was wondering if any one knows any local recovery professional?

Is there a way to install Office 2003 over a Windows Server 2003 enviroment?

I need to set up Office 2003 on New systems that we have. I was wondering if there is a way to run the installation file when they log in. Which will make life easier for me.

need to change a Router into an hub/switch.

I have a motorola Gateway. It is a Cable modem and wireless router in one. The problem is that It only has one ethernet connection. I really don't want to buy a switch just to get more wired connections. I do have a Belkin wireless router though. My gateway IP for the motorla 192.168.0.1...

Linux Samba file sharing problem.

Linux is set up to have the owner only be able to modify it. How would I be able to change it so that users and also modify it when the folder/file is created.

Cisco 2611 is running slow. How can I check traffic and info?

1560 errors. Do you think this is whats causing the problem? I'm new to cisco routers and I'm the only one capable of resolving this issue because my co-worker is on vacation. I'll turn the router off during lunch for few seconds and turn it on again.

Cisco 2611 is running slow. How can I check traffic and info?

I telnet into the router and the command prompt is so slow. It take seconds for the text that I type to pop up. I tried doing a "sh IP accounting" but it doesn't show me any info. Any suggestions?

The DNS is flushed and renewed. Still no go. I checked the hosts and lmhosts files and there's nothing awkward about it. Is there any other configuration on the PC that can cause this. I use my laptop to connect to the router and its works fine. Its just his laptop. The funny thing is he...

I'm getting a reply back from my DNS server. Is just won't resolve the name. If I do an nslookup and gives me the IP address. Weird...
