Thanks for the rec. Unfortunately, all area stores are sold out and the deal is apparently over. It still looks like a good deal, but I'm a little wary about shipping it to my house (issues with our delivery drivers in the past....)

32" TV for Bedroom... Insight or Sony (or something else)?

Hi all, I'm looking for a 32" TV for a bedroom, which will be watched from about 12' away (the size is dictated by furniture and wall space). The inputs will ONLY be a Roku Box, and a Standard Definition DVD player, and perhaps 3 times a year over-the-air TV (no cable, game console, etc.)...

Post-dating of checks

Pretty much what everyone else has said. No one at a bank of any size checks to make sure that a.) the date has passed and b.) (especially if you're have a commercial account) that the bank is made out to the entity that holds the bank account. Automatons, all.

Yeup, I'm not a fan of the Windows 7 libraries. And I have to agree with you on the way applications are installed -- especially since there are a mix of "traditional" (i.e. Windows-based) installers, the Mac-way of dragging applications (which are all one file....) to the Application folder...

I agree with the others who say that Mac's are easy to get used to, but I have to say that with all of the craziness Windows has done to it's file system lately, I think Apple's approach to file system layout is much easier to grasp. Just my experience.

Anyone here tried Chase's check deposit using an iphone?

Tried it last night on a new iPhone 4 (yay me). Had a check from a woman with impeccable handwriting for $90.00. The Chase app said that it couldn't verify the amount and said that the check was written for $0.00. Got a call when I was trying to take a second photo, and haven't tried it...

Any AT'ers take the GMAT?

I had a liberal arts background (English/Econ) before I took the GMAT.... and I definitely support the whole MBA over an MS in Marketing -- the MBA is more generalizable, but you can still concentrate on marketing if you want. Good luck with the job market....
