Just some questions: 1. From digging around a few places on the web, it seems like the 2007WFP Rev. A02 is only fixed in normal mode or whatever the standard mode is (so like switching to gaming mode or whatever = crap again)? 2. If prices were equal, or at least very similar, is it better...

That card is definitely hot. $289.99 for a comparable 7800GTX 256MB is really wonderful news. And like jlin101 said, the cheap price certainly allows an AS Silencer or a Zalman, and then overclock to the crazier versions of the 7900GT's :).

It depends on when you bought the RAM. But I'd try contacting Newegg if you really want that $2. It's pretty much a YMMV case. Technically, you can't; however, sometimes the Newegg rep agrees to it and takes that difference off right away. But if you want the money (only a simple contact IMO)...

HIS X1900XTX $449 AR - RETAIL

The deal is still pretty good considering a normal nVIDIA 7900GTX starts out at $499.00 and the fact that most stores do not have the 7900GTX in stock (as of time of posting). I can never afford to buy something this good, but still a good deal for those that can shell out the greens.
