Credit card interest rate soars to 69 percent

If you read, they say the interest rate is 69% but really it's probably the standard 20% for the entire term of the loan, plus the fees for missing a payment, plus the accrued interest, all in one month. They make is sound worse than it is, but this is just a problem with people not being able...

Do you keep empty boxes your stuff came in?

I keep them for a few months in case something goes wrong, and usually with games, etc I keep the original packaging... people seem to pay a lot more if I offer the box with it for some reason.

Is there any risk of leaving the dryer on too long?

Do you get your vents cleaned each year? Congested or clogged vents cause a lot of accidental house fires from clothes dryers. I'm not really a worrier but it is a real issue out there.

Anyone here get their Air Ducts / Dryer Vent professionally cleaned?

We just had a local business come in to check this out... they said $75 for dryer vents and the total for our entire house came out to be about $700. They do a ton more work though, pretty much all day to hook up to the vents, pump out the crap, clean the inside of the heating and air system...

Those life insurance small offers

I have several of these life insurance offer things that I get from banks, etc. For example, they say "This basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance" doesn't cost anything for a $2000 protection. Anyone know how these work, like if I get coverage like this at 2 banks, do I get $4000...
