It is not uncommon for your NIC to continuously flash. Your NIC will constantly poll the switch as long as there is a link.

Before you install all of your programs again, Disconnect the IDE drive, reinstall XP, reconnect the IDE drive. Your drive letters will be right again.

Yes, I would suggest setting your Vcore to auto and jumping to 1600 or 1700. I was stable after I hit 1600. From that point on I increases my FSB by 50 each time. I've only stopped at 1800 because I want a very stable gaming system. I have been windows stable(able to boot into windows and mess...

OK, another question, when I put the Vcore on Auto it jumps the voltage all the way up to 1.49. This seems high, and raises my temps from 42 degrees idle to 47 degrees idle. Is that to high?

I just tried 1800/800 and was getting intermittent BSOD. I have my Vcore set at 1.41 (whatever is closest to that) CPU-z and speedfan show it at 1.39. Should I bump it up?

SilentBob66, I see two things that can cause some of your pain. 1st you flashed the BIOS in windows, that can cause a lot of problems; 2nd you did not clear the CMOS after you flashed the BIOS. What version of XP are you trying to install? If its anything less than SP2, that can cause...
