installing vga silencer; accidently removed something bad!

CTRL+ALT+DEL = missing menu?

internet explorer new window not maximized?

Usually when i open internet explorer, it is maximized. but when i click on a link in the current ie window that opens a new ie window, it opens a window that covers the screen but its not maximized. how can i make it that it opens up maximized on a link? got any idea? many thanks.

save target as... temporary???

just recently i just reinstalled windows xp and everytime i download something, the default download box would ask me to open save or cancel. but for some reason, everytime i download, it automatically saves it to a temporary folder instead of asking me. can i disable this?
