Artic Cooling Freezer 64

i think the cl-p0200 would be more suitable for less powerful cpus. i've got it on my nc 3000+, and it did shave off about 3-4 degrees, but i dunno if it's too great for x2. altho nc is one of the hotter cpus at this point in time right? shrug

Do you think you are ugly?

i've had a complex about my face ever since i was about 14 (now 23). i've analyzed my face like crazy and basically my side view is the worst. front isn't that great either, but the side is my biggest flaw. being asian i've got a smallish nose, barely eyes that aren't sunken in like...

How far can you oc your A64 3000+

i was able to push my 3000+ nc up to 2.5ghz at stock voltage on the stock cooler, granted i didn't go all out on testing its stability. and i didn't try any higher. but i was able to play far cry and ut2k4 for a couple of hours. i went back to stock speeds though because i wanted to enable...

Thermaltake Typhoon

yep...i think the fan that comes with it is pretty quiet, something not associated with thermaltake for the most part i guess. but when i listened to the fan alone it seemed to be making little clicking sounds so i switched it out with a coolermaster 80mm rifle-bearing fan from the clearance...

Keep MX3000 w/MX600 Laser mouse or trade for MX1000?

wait if the mx600 doesn't have a charging cradle, that means it's not rechargeable right? and in that case even if you could use ni-mh batteries or whatever, there are no metal contacts on the mouse that allows it to utilitze the power coming through the mx700 charger right?

are you willing to try cool and quiet? does speedfan work with your motherboard? if so you could turn on c and q and lower rpm's of the stock cooler with speedfan. even better is if you get rmclock and undervolt. that way you can stay at a cooler temperature even on full load, thus allowing...

i just got a thermaltake silent 939 for my NC 3000+ from compusa for 30 bucks. i searched around everywhere before i bought it because it seems like not too many people like thermaltake...except for some of their cases and big typhoon. i didn't find much about it on forums but ended up buying...

Windows won't shut down

i've actually had the same shutting down problem. i heard my hard drive spin down but the screen was still there and the computer itself was not shut off. it shut itself off correctly maybe 1 out of 5 times or so...it was inconsistent. eventually it went away and now it shuts down correctly...
