Linux Program bar, for windows? What's it's name?

I remember seeing this program once, that lines certain programs you choose at the bottom, left, or right hand side of your screen in big picture type icons. Any help would be great, thanks. Balael

OC'ing Duron 600

Heh, I remember my first overclock was a duron 600. My 600 easily reached 1000 with 1.75 volts, and it stayed that way for 2years. I put it back in a few months ago just to play around with it, and I think it hit 1100, not perfectly stable, wouldn't run p95, but this was on a nf7-s. Good...

Hynix Bt-D43 512 Sticks, any interest

THanks, good info. Has anyone else tried overclocking their bt-d43 chips on an athlon chipset, mainly the nf7s-v2? I've seen great results on the intel platform, and i understand this stuff works great for them, which is why i'm considering getting different sticks for my platform. balael

Belkin 802.11b wireless troubles, anyone else?

I have recently set up a belkin 802.11b wirelss combo, consisting of the router and the usb adapter. The router is on the first floor of the house, while the usb adapter is 10-12 feet away on the second story, towards the stairs leading to upstairs. We get almost no signal, 10 -20% on the usb...

Are these chips any good? I got them a while back from CC, and am maybe looking to maybe get rid of them, but who are they good for? intel systems? amd systems? How good do they generally overclock on each system? Thanks for any help, didn't really know where to post this question. Balael

Computer business, building/repairing.. worth it???

Even if i don't look at refurb parts, or overclocked parts, i could still build a computer better then dell, without the support, but again the whole point of the thread was about making a business, and because of the support i never could compete with dell on that I agree with everyone, just...

Yep, a cold hard swift of reality is what i needed actually. But yeah, i do hate the tech support, and it's never a hardware failure, it's always from looking at too many porn sites, heh. But anyhow, past system, which i thought was pretty good.... Sonata case $38 clearance at staples...

Well for one, i'm 23, and just curious about it. Two, yes i did easily build a nicer system than dell that was way cheaper using many deals found on this site, other than the cpu and mobo that is, and all with legal copies of xp home, not pro mind you, but whatever. Thanks for the help to those...

Anyone know of a power supply that is shorter? Less than 5 inches?

I'm just wondering if any company makes a power supply, that is not microatx, that is shorter then 5 inches in length? Anyone ever dealt with a short power supply? if so who made it? thanks guys. balael

Will PNY accept a compgeeks refurb reciept for an exchange?

My pny geforce3 ti200 has been acting up lately, i'm looking to return it but I was wondering if PNY would accept the reciept that says refurb on it? has anyone else tried? They do have a lifetime warranty, and all i'm looking for them to do is to exchange me a gf3ti200 for the one I got. If...
