Advice on bad Asus bios flash

Shut down system and pop mobo battery for a few seconds and pop back in , should reboot then.

Shoud be on the same page in your bios as cpu voltage adjustment ,if it's not in your bios you don't have that option.

P4 1.8A @ 2.3Ghz - Why can't I go higher?

Classic case of not enough juice to cpu try upping to 1.7v and if you can't go higher then , it's your particular cpu has hit it's max output.

Would you run your Northwood at 1.7V+ ?

At 1.725v your fine ,once something is stated on a forum alot of people think it's gospel , even at 1.75v the chances of electromigration are minimal .
