The First Hammer Board Hits the THG Lab

I wouldn't touch a Hammer board with a Via chip on it, for me, it's all AMD or nothing, I hope that we don't see another 760 episode where boards will only have an AMD NB and a Via SB, That kills it for me. I hve sworn to never buy another VIA board.

Making electrical contacts or plugs that connect a side-panel case fan when the side-panel is closed?

I was working on a Dell Server that has fans that are hot swappable, they have a power plug that just slides together, I also have a 4U Rack Mount case that has hot swappable fans, they just slide in and make the power connection. You can probably find something at Radio Shack that will do...

Loaded MBM and get this annoying beep...any ideas?

It is definately something that has exceded the alarm threshold, possibly voltage on your one of your rails or temp on a CPU or system.

Should I upgrade from Klipsch 2.1 speakers?

The ONLY speakers that I would upgrade the Klipsch 2.1 to are the Klipsch 4.1 or 5.1, In my opinion, there aren't ANY PC speakers that sound as nice as the Klipsch Pro Medias. Go to you local Best Buy and check out the other options, Best Buy usually has quite a few on display that you can...

CDRW problem in XP pro, $5 paypal to anyone who can help solve...

I think my friend screwed up!!!

I doubt that an e-machine would have an Award bios, most likely a Pheonix Bios and then you are screwed, hopefully the Bios chip is in a Socket instead on being soldered onto the motherboard, if it is in a socket, you can always order a new Bios chip from e-machine, otherwise, you will have to...

Hercules Releases Fortissimo III w/ 7.1 sound!
