Have a question about upgrading wifi and keeping Tomato for main router.
Current setup is an Asus N66u with Tomato. Firewall/static ip configured on this router. 75/75 Fios internet. Wifi is disabled.

Nice thread. Interesting read as I build my 24bay zfs similar setup. Will be doing two 12drive raidz2 pools. Now if newegg would lift the dumb 5 drive limit on those F4 drives so I can get going
I love mine. Verizon fios with cablecard setup on an i7 920 12gb ram and 10tb in raid5 (for about 7.5tb of space) :) Already filling up with hd and might have to build a separate box for all my hd movies/tv series now..
Now if i can figure out how to get the commercials to auto remove! :(...
I have this. I use my own linksys gigabit N router. the NIM only downloads the VOD and guide. I actually dont even need that anymore as I purchased a tv tuner card and setup a 10tb media center to record all my fios tv..
However before, you will notice the guide updates faster and the VOD...
