200GB Hard Drive Recognition??

Is Doom 3 Open GL or Direct x9 game? The game runs great in single player but in Multiplayer it is slower than snail snot in the FPS area. I get a fluctuation in Single player of about 25-55fps but in multiplayer its more like 9-30fps

Sound card differences

I have a Nforce 3 250GB Motherboard with the onboard 7.1 channel sound. I also have a Audigy LS Sound card and an Audigy 2 Standard sound card. If I went witha PCI audio card, I'm assuming the Audigy 2 would be the one to go with, however, wouldnt the onboard Nforce 3 sound perform better...

I dont think they are being cheap, they purposley do that stuff so people have a reason to buy the more expensive cards. Think about it. If they got the temps down another 5-10 degrees celsius by adding the Ultra cooler, and they overclocked very well to Ultra clocks and beyond, who the heck...
