Trying to complete a new E8400 build

Get an 8800GT or the new 8800GTS 512MB, not the old GTS. It's basically a ripoff at this point.

Just ordered my E8400!!

Mine should get here either Tuesday or Wednesday. Oddly, NCIXUS still hasn't shipped it even though I ordered it Sunday morning.

e8400 at the egg

I got a Retail version yesterday from NCIXUS for $190. The shipping, however, almost made it not worth getting. I was afraid Newegg would have it with lower prices today, but I'm glad that I didn't second guess myself!

Basic BIOS Flashing Question

I recently purchased an E8400 along with a Gigabyte P35-DS3L motherboard. I also bought a cheap Celeron 420 just to flash the BIOS. However, I've never built a system of my own before, and until recently, I had no idea that the BIOS could even be updated. Anyways, how would I go about...

Should I Buy the E8400 Today?

There are lots of online retailers that have been selling E8400s all week. I've already bought the rest of my system from Newegg. Should I just go ahead and buy the E8400 today for ~$210, or hope that tomorrow sites like Newegg will offer them for cheaper prices? Also, any links to good E8400...

Could really use some help with new build

$130 still seems too expensive for DDR2 RAM, but whatever. I've found 2X2GB modules for as low as $70.

Building a new computer

Do you really need to spend that much money? $1500 is more than enough for a gaming PC these days, unless you're one of those people that has to have the ultimate system. If you're looking into such a high-end system, make sure you get an EVGA graphics card so you can step up to the newer ones...

New PCBuild

I just ordered a computer very similar to yours! I'm getting Vista Home premium 64-bit instead and an E8400, but overall our builds seem very similar (identical case and hard drive infact).
