Since this is the game I'm playing the most right now, I wanted a quick justification for my purchase, so before taking out my 1070, I stood in one place and just watched the frame rate for a minute. It held pretty steady. Then logged out without moving, swapped in the 1080Ti, then logged back...

Yeah, just tested a bit myself and I'm seeing the same thing. About 30% CPU usage and ~50% GPU usage for me. I'm going to run a couple of quick 3DMark tests to make sure the 1080Ti is running at expected levels, just seemed really weird to not notice any increase in framerate at all.

Would like some feedback on my graphic situation. I was running a i7-6700k and GTX1070 with 16GB of RAM. In fullscreen/windowed, graphic quality maxed at 10, MSAAx8 AA, no max framerate defined, g-sync 1440p/144Hz monitor....i would get around 55-59 fps in town. I upgraded to the 1080Ti today...

Ok, you print, but where?

Unsure if this is what you're looking for but I have a Canon Pixma Pro-100, so I print at home. They pretty much give these printers away. This very moment, Canon has a mail-in rebate that makes these $130. If you buy a camera with it, they'll give you one for free. I love the prints I get...

'Best' monitor for photographers around $500?

I have had the Dell P2415Q for over a year, purchased it for photography. Couldn't be happier. 4k resolution, IPS monitor, Dell's premier color, beautiful contrast. Just a great monitor, really nothing bad to say about it. Dell link...

Purchased the Apollo 11 VR Experience today and sat through it in its entirety. Was about 45 minutes from start to finish. It was pretty awesome, I think worth the ~$10. I'd really like to see more like this, history lessons that put you into the event.

Minecraft released on the Oculus Store today. It's exactly as you'd expect, although it's really neat to switch between the VR mode and 2D mode. It would make a great intro to VR, to have somebody viewing in 2D mode and be like, "yep, that's Minecraft", then hit the button to go into the world...

So is the Xbox one Kinect dead now?

If it wasn't obvious already that Kinect was dead, maybe the fact that they didn't even include the port on the new XBOX One S will tip you off.

Just picked this up today and messed around with some of the characters in free-play mode. Looks like it will be a fun game but I can already tell from your comments that it's very dependent on team play, which is a near impossibility playing randoms. I'm gong to try to hop into some games...

In the market for a Gtx 1070, is there a consensus on which are the best to get?

The Gigabyte G1 1070 is the card I went with, mainly because it was the cheapest that was in stock last week when I wanted to buy one. I've been happy with it. This is my first new video card since I purchased a 660, so I've been out of the loop and am not the best resource to be giving...

Had this happen a couple more times since originally posting this and have since found out it's the Oculus software just not responding. The remote button was responsive inside software but not when interacting with the Oculus software. I then found the controller's A button wouldn't respond...

So my fit is now good. I haven't had the sensor issues again yet since I turned off power management of the sensor in the device manager. However, this afternoon my remote isn't behaving right. The middle-click is intermittently working. It will stop working completely and won't work again...
