$300-$500 system suggestions

Just to throw this out there : http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2085394 That gets you a decently powerful system under $500 that you can game on. The only thing is it doesn't have the large number of USB ports that you were looking for.

Parts showed up. Little disappointed that the power supply's plug overlaps a little bit with part of the case, so it doesn't mount flush. But outside of that everything is quite outstanding. Windows 7 scores: Proc : 6.3 RAM : 5.9 Graphics : 6.9 Gaming Graphics : 6.9 Primary HDD : 5.9...

Do you care about Star Wars any more?

I still like star wars, but not as much as when I was younger and before the new trilogy started to release. Granted I'm a sprat anyway at 21 years old, but the Original Trilogy was what tickled my interest as a kid, and I got engrossed in the Expanded Universe novels too. I had most of the ones...

So I'm prepping to move into an appartment in January

How accurate are these apartment review sites in your experience? I mean I understand that a lot of people won't write if they have a good experience, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt. But when I went to the apartments themselves they seemed great, and I used to live up the street 3 miles...

No, he's saying that it's a different system. You are purchasing something on the site that the particular store may or may not have in stock. Because of this, they send one from a warehouse to the store. CC confirms that they have it in stock, then you have it set aside, and pick it up that way.

Women Drivers

I usually am the one to drive if my girlfriend and I go anywhere. Even if we're not taking my car. And no way I'd let my girlfriend drive my Licoln Town Car. She wouldn't know what to do with that boat :)

Better matx board for conroe 4300

I would def recommend the 965 board. It's a newer chip set, that should be able to over clock better, and the onboard video will be a little bit more tolerable.

Where to find BTX cases?

I've got a pair of mobo's that I mis ordered from Newegg and instead of returning them with the restock fee I just decided to keep onto them and build a rig around them later. I had ordered ATX cases so they didn't work for the builds I was working on at the time. But now I'm sitting around...

6800 ultra vs. x1800xt?

Again, it's a card that is a generation newer at the high end of it's release cycle. I would be shocked if the Quadro could put up a fight for the fireGL version of those cards.
